Question of the day

I skipped it this morning. Shame on me! But I felt that much less guilty eating my chips/meal replacement for brunch . . . .
two slices of bread with margarine and a cup of Coffee. Normally 2 slices of toasted bread with honey.
I hate to say this but I don’t lie. I had a cup of coffee and a Marlboro Light. ๐
You don’t know how GOOD that sounds Gary. I’d kill for a smoke.
Me too…can I have a drag?
Are you a smoker or ex-smoker JAM?
Ex-smoker for the past wow it will be 3 years in 2 weeks!
I smoked 2-3 packs a day for 20 years! It’s funny you posted this because I wasthisclose to pulling over a buying a pack yesterday and for some reason I am having major cravings today!
NOOOOO!!! Don’t buy any!!! NO!!!!!!
Trust me I won’t.
My husband smokes so I smell it all the time and it does smell good! But I don’t want to end up like my parents, dead by 65 with cause of death reading cigarette smoking, so that keeps me away!
So you were a heavy smoker too. I’m glad to hear you quit. GREAT JOB!
DON’T BUY ANY!! DON’T DO IT!
oh man! Don’t do it Joy! Look how far you have come!
We are all VERY proud of you too! ๐
No I never would Gary but man, I want one really bad sometimes and smoke smells really good to me when I do smell it.
I bet it is hard to smell it. ๐ฆ
Are you kidding me?? She loves it, she sniffs away after Jason has one!!!
So far coffee. I can’t eat for at least an hour or more after I wake up. I’ve been eating Blueberry Mini Wheates. ๐
I had left over cajun rice with sausage and corn.
I’ ve never understood how people can eat “non-breakfast” food for breakfast. My old room mate always used to eat left=over pizza. Just the thought of eating something like that makes my stomach turn. ๐
It’s so funny but I think I could eat non breakfast food over breakfast food. I can’t eat cereal no matter what time it is. Isn’t that weird?
A cup of tea and a bowl of cereal.
I can’t eat breakfast either. I know how important people say it is but I’ve never been able to eat when I wake up. It’s coffee for a few hours and then I skip to a cup of soup or something. I just can’t force myself to eat cereal.
Corn pops and a cup of coffee. I love cereal! Always have and always will. I also like oatmeal.
Today (my first response was done last night) I had my organic multigrain oat flakes with raisins. This is the breakfast I normally intend to have. Sometimes it is hard to feel like eating when I am rushing to do a bunch of stuff.
I didn’t know coffee counted. I have coffee after (or for) breakfast and pretty much never stop drinking it until bed.
I had a pot of coffee and a bowl of raisin bran.
Ben and I are having cheerios and bananas right now! ๐ Like a cup of tea too.
Cheerios today. Yesterday (when this question was posted) I had cheese grits.
You know Kween, I’ve never had grits. What are they? I really don’t know.
Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. At least it was when I could have eggs, sausage, home fries, grilled English muffins and coffee. And I mean all of that all at once. Now that I do weight watchers I don’t eat that stuff anymore. Instead I have a Jimmy Dean 5 WW point Breakfast sandwich D’Lite. It’s an English muffin, an egg beater, turkey sausage and some kind of fake FF cheese. It fills me up though and doesn’t taste half bad. UInfortunately, I was out of them this morning so I had too giant mugs of International Swiss Mocha coffee.
Today, I had Captn Crunch and coffee.
Yesterday I had cheese grits with butter and coffee. I love my cheese grits.
What the heck are cheese grits you guys?
For me, and I’m not a “southern cook” so mine are probably gross to those who know what they are talking about, grits are ground corn. They cook up like cream of wheat, but instead of sweet stuff such as cinnamon and sugar, they taste wonderful with butter, cheese and a little salt. They are a savory breakfast treat.
I make instant grits…1/4 cup with 1 cup water…put in microwave for 3 min 50 sec.
Then I add 1 tbsp margarine, a dash of salt, and 1/4 cup of low fat cheddar cheese.
I have them with coffee or hot tea. Yummy! ๐
You can find them on the same aisle with hot breakfast cereals such as cream of wheat or oatmeal.
Thanks joz. I think I may try those. Sounds good.
