The movies on this list that I have seen, I agree with but I’m really surprised by the number I haven’t seen. I haven’t seen Say Anything, The Princess Bride or Casablanca. Love Story and Gone With The Wind I saw back in the theater.
I also have only seen half of these, assuming you count the one I saw when I was maybe 10 years old. I can’t really comment on whether these are the best or not, because I haven’t seen all that many movies. There are some on the list that definitely didn’t move me that much, but I can’t name others off the top of my head that are better. Well, what about Jane Eyre? I personally found that story extremely romantic, but possibly more because I was in love with the book.
I have seen all of these and agree with most. Gone with the wind might be romantic, but the movie is way too long!!!
I’d probably add Titanic and PS I love you

Yes, Nothing Hill for sure, and my all time favorite: Love Actually should be on the list also. (at least at my list 🙂 )

You haven’t seen The Princess Bride????? Oh, that’s one of my All Time Favorites. Netflix it. It’s worth it.
I knew someone would say something about that. I intend to watch it at the next opportunity. I LOVE Robin Wright Penn.

I haven’t seen half of these either! The Notebook was good, but the book was so much better!
I 1OO% agree with #1!!!! Pretty Women was on last night…always a classic!
I’ve been waiting for you to see the #1 movie 🙂 I know how much you guys loved it.

I loved Titanic. I watched it a few weeks ago when I couldn’t find anything on.
After seeing The Time Travelers Wife…I’d put it on this list! WOW! It got me…it got both of us just like the Notebook did!
I plan on renting that the next time I want to watch a movie. It looks good to me.
I”m not a love story type of person..
I HAVE SEEN ONLY ONE OF THESE –LOVE STORY.
I read that book and saw the movie in the theater. It made me cry so hard. I just loved it.
Notting Hill didn’t make the list?
It deserves a mention.
