Not very often that’s for sure. I do for my hair appts. My hairdresser has her salon added on to her home so it’s easier for her to do it that way instead of paying for a machine. If I give money as a gift I will usually write a check or if I owe someone money because I so rarely have cash but those are really about the only times I do.

  2. Sue says:

Only when I have to pay a bill that doesn’t have e-check! Can you believe my phone company doesn’t have pay online even though they are the ones that give me my internet access?! I think that’s so bass ackwards!

  3. LVISS says:

WE STILL DEAL MOSTLY IN CHECK PAYMENTS .

  4. SKL says:

I write maybe one check every two months.

  5. Laura (LS) says:

I pay all my bills with checks. I guess it’s the hands-on-ness of actually writing out the check, I remember better that I paid that bill, and i have easily accessible proof that I paid the bill, if I ever need it. Not that I HAVE needed it, but it’s nice to have it.

Also, I’m a bit paranoid about having EVERYTHING online. I like to maintain at least the illusion of control – like I’m keeping a little bit away from Big Brother. I’m probably not, but at least I can pretend.

  6. Lucy says:

I pay some of my bills with check and some online (depends on if I’m paying them myself or splitting them with my b’f). I also have to pay rent with a check.

  7. Nikki says:

Oh goodness no! If we have to send money in the mail we send money orders. We just had to do that for Baileys baseball.
I pay every bill over the phone. I don’t know why I don’t do it online. It’s just the way I have done it for years. We haven’t written a check in years, we don’t even own a check book! It’s either cash or debit!

  8. Just a Mom says:

We print our checks on the computer and we put everything else on a credit card and then pay that off at the end of the month.

  9. kweenmama says:

I write for my daughter’s dance studio, and for my kids’ school lunches, and that is it.

  10. joz1234 says:

only to people who don’t accept debit cards or Epayments. It drives me crazy to get in line behind people at the grocery store who still write checks. A couple weeks ago I even got behind these two people who split their grocery bill and paid with 2 checks!!

  11. Oh gosh, yes, all the time. I’m not very electronic about bill paying.

  12. moodswing mabel says:

Hardly ever. I do all of my banking online. I love it, it’s so much easier and I rarely buy stamps either which is good because it saves money and the aggravation of dealing with the lazy employees at our post office.
