OUCH. Hopefully it’s only on the one side.
wow. that hurts just looking at it!
Gotta put it out there because it reminded me right away of my skin cancer I had last year, and still deal with, that ouch! And yes it leads straight to cancer if done repeatedly…tanning beds are all UV and the doc told me are #1 cause they are seeing people in their 20’s for cancer-heads up to ya all. From now on, I am so proud and happy to be white, pale, freckled 🙂
Yes Tessa, thank God you were okay. Paul too went through the process of skin cancer two years ago and it was ishy and he now wears a good hat golfing and fishing and sleeves or a very good sun screen. I used to so worship the sun but those days are over. I don’t hide but I’m a lot more careful of it.
Thanks! Yes, I need to find a good looking hat for California and Japan will be hot too. I got SPF 70 and plan to cover up Ben too. Hope he has dad’s skin. Those days are done for me too, and it is a relief.
Wow. That hurts indeed to watch that. Good luck Tessa! Hope you are doing better now! I am getting less and less interested in getting a nice tan too.
Too painful to look at!
HAHAHAHA! We see these touristy people all the time during the summer. We call them “Lobster People.”
The good news is that in a couple of days she can have a game of “see how big a piece of skin I can peel off at one time.”
PS: Don’t forget the sunscreen on your feet!
I don’t worship the sun, but I always seem to get a burn when I am on vacation. I forget that I will be spending an unusual amount of time in the sun. When I went to China, I remembered to use sunscreen, but I missed a few spots and ended up with scorched ears and upper arms. Sunburns on vacation are the worst!
And this is why I no longer lay in the sun to get tanned. If I’m out and get some sun that’s one thing. This is just horrible! Does that look sexy to anyone??? LOL And too, what’s more sexy? A tanned young bod or a leathery old bod, because that is what you will end up with!
Very true Nikki!! Eric and I will NEVER foget the one day we went swimming in Florida. It was so hot and the humidity was so thick you could barely breath. There were 2 girls not much older than me next to us, laying out tanning, and there skin was leather-literally-I had never seen anything like it and I couldn’t help but stare! LOL I just thought, do they really think that looks good??
