A big fat fail!

This was just to good not to share.

“Cedar Rapids police say an Illinois man stiffed a cabdriver out of his fare — which is illegal — and then left his wallet behind in the cab — which is stupid.

Police Sgt. Cristy Hamblin says officers arrested 39-year-old Kenneth Lindsay of Loves Park, Ill., late Wednesday night at a Cedar Rapids motel.

Officers say Lindsay allegedly bolted without paying his $19 fare. Officers used the identification in Lindsay’s wallet to find his room and arrest him for theft and public intoxication.

A charge of interference with official acts was added after Lindsay allegedly tried to kick out a window of the squad car that took him to the Linn County Jail.

Lindsay was released on bond after a court appearance Thursday. It was not immediately known if he had an attorney.”

How about that? Isn’t it wonderful?

Stupid criminals! Crime doesn’t pay 😉

I wouldn’t try to stiff a cab driver, but I’d be dumb enough to leave my wallet behind if I did.

You know, I considered posting this, but then I thought… “naaah, this isn’t the goofiest thing that happens around here…and besides, the dummy in that story was from Illinois.”

There is at least one hunter each year who gets shot by his dog.

There was the guy who was robbed at gunpoint – of his clothes. The robber was unidentified, and left the victim with his wallet and money. The robber just took the clothes and left the guy standing there in the middle of town, stark, raving naked.

And then there were the guys who thought they had the best disguise ever for robbing a bank. They colored their faces with Sharpie Markers!!

(there’s a reason that some people refer to the letters of our state as an acronym for “idiots out wandering around.”)
