The jungle, I think. Depends on what kind of critters are hanging around. But at least there would probably be food & water there.

Sean, I am with you. I also think they can see you from the air when you are in the desert. In the jungle are too many creepy animals and poison plants..brrrrrrrrr…
Man, everyone has good points! I’m going to say jungle though b/c the desert is just as scary and I would not want to be stuck in a sand storm with no shelter!
Actually there are a TON of nasty animals in the desert too. Just to name a few: Spiders (Black Widow), Scorpions, Snakes, and Hyenas. (I’ve watched too many Man vs Wild episodes)
I would choose the rain forrest. At least there are places to sleep and food.
Jungle at least there is water and shelter.
Chances of survival in the desert? Slim to none unless near a town, so for sure the jungle. Find some apes and make friends 🙂
Tough question! Desert is hot and water would be scarce. BUT you’d be able to see where you’re going. Jungle could be confusing, but water and food would be more available. So jungle I suppose!
I’m going with the jungle. Sooner or later some guy on a bulldozer is bound to come by. 🙂
That is a tricky question.. I’m less scared of the animals in the desert.. but the shade, the food and the water that the jungle could provide is probably a more important aspect.
Though it depends. We live in the desert… but that’s not exactly the same thing as being stranded.
jungle…for all the reasons above, and because I’ve watched enough Diego to learn more about Jungle animals than desert animals.
