What popular movie (or movie series) have you NEVER seen?
I haven’t seen or read one single Harry Potter book. I know it’s hard to believe.
I’ll have to think more about this one. I have a feeling I’ll be coming back to this one all day.
Hello, ladies. I cannot remember how I got here, but I wound up reading about Laura’s life and was really moved by it.
I have never seen Braveheart. I understand that I’ve really missed something, but I am just never up for watching it.
Hi bZirk. Welcome. We all hope you come back again.
There are a few I’ve not seen. I haven’t seen Twillight, Harry Potter, or Star Wars. I’ve seen parts of the last 2 movie series, but none of the movies in their entirety.
I haven’t seen Twillight or read the books. I’ve never seen Miracle on 34th Street in it’s entirety. I haven’t seen Avatar either. Now that I think of it, there are a TON of movies I haven’t seen! Great question.
I haven’t seen any of the Twilight books or movies either. I don’t get the whole vampire thing. I’m not into it AT ALL.
I haven’t seen anything Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings related. TV wise, I haven’t seen The Big Bang Theory. I’m on a mission to see a lot of the classics though.
I don’t see a lot of movies, especially recent ones. Of note, I haven’t seen Star Trek or the Lord of the Rings. Haven’t seen Schindler’s List. Have seen very, very few of the Oscar winners of my lifetime. Haven’t seen An Inconvenient Truth nor Sicko, thank God. No Batman, Cars, and whatever other “nostalgia movies” and cartoons have gotten big in recent years.
I’ve been to the theater about twice in the past 5 years. I’ve seen about 4 rented movies during that time.
Schindler’s List is wonderful. If you’d like, I could send you the DVD. It’s one of the best movies I’ve ever seen though I can’t watch it often. It’s so very sad.
I very rarely go to the theater either so don’t feel bad.
Schindler’s List is a great movie. You should definitely see it! We watched it in 9th grade social studies and I will never forget it.
Well. THIS explains why my Harry Potter jokes fall flat around here.
Ok, here’s my list. I’ve not seen TONS of popular movies in recent years, which isn’t surprising, since I’m an adult who has a family and lives in a tiny community with a 2-screen theatre. On the upside, that 2-screen theatre is always 5 bucks per show, any time, and you don’t need to take out a loan to buy popcorn and soda! I can get out of there in under $10! But there were some big-time movies and series from when I was a kid, growing up in the ’80’s.
Anyway, I digressed. My list:
the Godfather Series
most Horror Flicks (Halloween, etc. I did see Nightmare 1)
-and most of the rest of the “Brat Pack” movies
You must see the Outsiders!!
The Godfather series, Jaws and Titanic are all a MUST. I have them all if you want me to send them to you for a movie night. I could become the next Netflix.
A quick note, I was pregnant with Jason when Jaws came out and I was so scared I was afraid to swim in my mom’s pool!! How stupid is that? It was a very good and realistic movie for back then.
The Godfathers…..I can’t even say how good those are.
This is a hard one for me! I have not seen any of the Batman movies.
Probably Star Wars. I’ve seen parts of the first one. Jason hasn’t seen them all either. We want to buy the entire trilogy and make a weekend out of it.
None of the Hairy Putter stuff.
Havent seen Harry Potter ones either, and wont.No Star Wars, just not into it.Other than that Im not sure.Oh yea,Twillight I havent seen and won’t see either. Can’t think of anything else.
Just thought of one I said I would never watch and I did(I know that wasnt your question).I was sorry I did too!Inglorious Bastards…..not a good movie, just my little opinion.Anyone else watched it?
I haven’t seen that Karen but it is on my list of movies I want to see. How come you didn’t like it?
The story line was actually pretty good, there was just a few gruesome scenes,a little over the top for me,hard to watch.I know Wes liked the movie though.
None of the LOTR movies..
I saw Schindler’s List in high school, it was amazing (the storytelling). The John Hughes ‘brat-pack’ movies are a must see. They stand the test of time. I thought Inglourious Basterds was pretty original, although those types of movies usually aren’t my favorites.
I saw Sicko & An Inconvinient Truth and thought they were brilliant! I’m a huge Michael Moore fan, but his movie was really eye-opening!
