  1. Joy says:

    Being buried alive.

  2. Laura says:

I’m suffering it right now. I’m looking at today’s Picture of the Day!

  3. Laura says:

Ok, ok… I’ll be serious… yeah Joy, I agree. I think being buried alive would be my worst thing, too.

  4. Nikki says:

    watching my child being hurt.

  5. SKL says:

OK, my first thought was what your photo shows – being woken up in the morning! Yuck! Hate it every single time!!

But seriously – worst torture – I tend to agree with Nikki about watching someone torture my child.

No, wait, maybe it would be having to sit through a whole Obama live speech or rally. Or worse, having to work on his policy teams.

No, let’s get real, it would have to be lunching with Michael Moore.

Aargh, I am going to have nightmares tonight (if I ever get any sleep).

  6. SKL says:

Being drawn and quartered would be pretty bad.

  7. Ellen says:

I had a nightmare that my son was tortured and that was the worst experience ever. Even that it was a dream.

  8. souldose says:

Anything bad happening to my 7 year old nephew, he means everything to me

  9. Laura says:

Ok, the child being hurt thing, I think, is so horrible that my brain rarely goes there. So I’d have to push that one to the top of the list.

But I also came up with “burned alive” overnight.

    • Nikki says:

My brain goes there….same with animals. Torture an animal, you might as well just kill me! I have a warped mind, I think of that crap!

      • Laura says:

I noticed my mind going there a LOT… it’s one of the reasons I quit watching Law & Order: SVU… there was one episode where the bad guy not only kidnapped two little kids, he killed the little blonde boy (who happened to be about the same age as Josh, and had big blue eyes) in the middle of a train station.

I turned it off right there, and never watched it again. My life has been a lot less frightening since then!

  10. Just a Mom says:

Having to listen to someone scratching their nails on a chalkboard for any length of time!!

  11. Sue says:

Having my children watch me tortured.
