Okay guys, we want and need your help. We’ve been talking and we’ve decided we need a change. So, each day there will be a new “theme” on here. We want you to keep track each day and when they have all been put on, we want you to tell us which one you like the most. The one we go with will be one that we can change the header on. The way we all like to take photo’s, we like that part of changing it from season to season.
The old theme is called Mistylook. We’ve had that since we started because we got used to it and I do like almost everything about it from how the comments are to the whiteness of it.
Today’s is called Ocean Mist.
If possible, write them down and say why you do or why you don’t like each one because as we change it each day, there will be no way for us to identify which one you mean if you say “the one with the blue fonts” for example. I found quite a few I liked but didn’t like the comments at the top, or some such thing. Please, try to tell us what you like and more important, what you don’t. I’m going to keep the lily on each day just so it’s not totally confusing.

PS…..I didn’t know if the pic would work in each post. I’ll put the new one in each day in the post. Still, if possible, try and remember the name of the one you love and the one you hate.

I don’t like all these categories under the comment box. I wonder how I can get rid of them. Anyone know?
I don’t like all the categories either… but I’m totally unsavy when it comes to these things.. so i cannot help
I like the top of this one, but the font is hard to read. Also, does there have to be that much empty space on both sides?
I also don’t like how these comments seem so squished together. SKL, there’s no way you can change the sides. They have like 2 and 3 columns and you can only go by that.
I am NOT fond of this one. We’ll see what everyone else thinks.
This is the one I liked, because of the blue but I didn’t like the way the comments were. The blue was refreshing and inviting. Better than white!
I don’t like it b/c the print is too small and there’s too much empty space in here! I do like the picture!
And I don’t like that it doesn’t have a “home” button to click to go back.
I didn’t like that either. If you click “us girls, our views”, you go back but it’s not a common thing to do.
Is it just me or…it’s probably just me! I keep hitting the Edit Comment when I want to reply.
It’s NOT you. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve done that.
Can you tell me why that button is so big and right under the comment?
Came by to see the new look. Read through the comments. I agree. Lots of empty space on the sides, and the categories at the bottom are odd (placement wise). You know who has hers set up like this? Girl From The Ghetto. I don’t think she has as many categories though.
The header is nice. The blue color soft and peaceful.
I like the buttons you have for social sites. The awards look nice.
I agree the blue is very nice. I’m a little bit of creature of habit sometimes slow to change. I’ll have to come back a few times to form a good opinion. It’s nice that wordpress has been coming up with new theme.
I think this is the one I was talking about last night, with the maroon lettering. But when I saw it, it was only the front page, and not the comments. I don’t like the layout of the comments at all. They’re too squished, and you’re right – that massive “edit comment” button is very annoying.
As for the categories, those are always there – they were there, too, with the previous theme (Misty Look), they were just very faint, in a softer color, so they weren’t so obvious.

Yea I think we’re all in agreement, this is not the one for us! The only thing I like about it is the color, it’s fresh and inviting.
We might come across another colored one Nikki. This is just the first one. But I want to leave it for a whole day so everyone can see it.
Yea I know, everyone should see it. It only makes sense to leave it up all day. Perfect thing to go during our break!
I don’t care for this one either. The bottom drives me nuts!
AH, GEEZ!!!! THOSE lists of categories!!! Yeah, I agree with you guys! What the HECK??? I thought you were all talking about the wad of ‘chosen’ categories/tags at the end of each post. I never scrolled down to the bottom and saw all those columns of words! Yeesh, that’s just a waste of site space. And the more I navigate around, I don’t like the way the posts are separated. They kind of run into one another, where the last style didn’t do that.
I’ve also “logged out” TWICE now, thanks to that lovely little button next to this writing box.
I DO have to say, I LIKE the following:
– the color scheme
– the border/color blocks at the top, around the header photo.
I like the way this, Ocean Mist, looks – I mean, it’s pretty and aesthetic and clean, but something about the font being all small like it is makes it feel not right somehow. I’m so used to your posts having nice easy-to-read size words that this takes some getting used to.
Still, the blue borders are very calming on the page, which is pretty nice. Can’t wait to see what else you guys are thinking of putting here!
Yeah, this isn’t ‘the one’!
The font is too small. And the categories on the bottom is not is so much, it looks more like tags than categories. I am looking forward to see the other ones!
