I would love to take a long train trip that stops in many places along the coast and experience the sleepers.
Helicopter. That I probably will fear but also will want.
I would also say a train. I took a train as a child and I’m sure it’s very different. I’d love to cross the country in my own little berth.
hmm… i think it would be interesting to take a snowmobile ride…. 🙂
Wow… don’t know that there are many forms of transportation I haven’t tried… hovercraft, maybe. I’ll have to think about this one.
Only one?! Oh yeah, it’s my question, I can’t complain about it!
It would be fun to sail – I’ve never done that. I like the idea of taking a train through India as a tourist. I’ve been on trains in the US, but the exotic aspect would be new.
I’d like to fly on a hang-glider. Does that count? Or one of those things where a big cable stretches from one cliff to another and you cling to a rolling hanging thing to get across. (I’m sure there’s an actual name for that.)
When I was a kid, I always wanted a hovercraft. I thought I’d build one someday. I seem to remember drawing plans for it, involving a conventional household fan, LOL. I also wished for a unicycle. I would still like to try a unicycle someday, just to prove to myself I could do it.
Skiing, ice skating – do they count? I have never done either of those.
Gondola
I mean where you actually have to hang on for dear life as you’re sliding from one cliff to the other. They use them in less developed countries rather than build a big bridge. Kids use them to get to school. Freaky but cool.
Now I know what you’r talking about but dont know the name of those.
I’ve done most of the available methods of transportation available to me – car, train, plane, canoe, motor boat… One thing I’d like to do that I haven’t yet is to sail across the ocean from one continent to another, a la a better-fated Titanic.
Train, I suppose. Have no desire to go on a ship, any floating device of any kind actually.
My grandma and her sister used to take a train from Sacramento to New Orleans when they were younger. I know they had fun. I’d like to do something like that someday.
I would have to say a ferry or the bullet train. I’ve never taken a ferry and the trains I’ve been on I’m not going on again! Sorry Amtrak!
I would probably have to pick a rickshaw at least I would feel safe. I am such a chicken LOL.
You took my answer!!We saw them on The Amazing Race and my hubby always said he’d like to be the one to give me a ride on it…Yup,just my pase too!!
Once in those rickshaws you feel far from safe..LOL
At least your going slow, unless the person falls down on a big hill.
Windjammer Cruise. Those are “tall ships”, like the old pirate ships with all the sails. On some of the cruises, they let you be part of the crew and learn the stuff, but it’s also a cruise through a tropical area, so it’s warm and balmy and whatnot.
I’ve been on lots of boats, and even small cruise ships (there are a couple day-cruise boats in Chicago), but I’ve never done a “big” cruise, so I’d like to do that.
SHIP. BUT I DO NOT LIKE TO TRAVEL BY IT .I HAVE OCEANOPHOBIA.
I saw a video of a boat that can take off and fly a little bit that looks like fun to me. Boating and flying just a little off the water.
