LOL. Do Catholics count??? I’m just kidding.
What about Mennonites? Or is a Mennonite a religion? It’s really like a lifestyle and I love it. I love how they are. I guess I’m not certain what “ethnic” means exactly. I’m not kidding about this one.
Hey! Us Catholic’s think you Lutheran’s are pretty different ๐
Joy, I didn’t know you were a Lutheran. I was “raised” Lutheran for the most part. I don’t exactly consider myself “Lutheran” now, but I relate to that church better than to most.
LOL! That’s a good one Joy!
By romantic interest, do you mean one that has a snowball’s chance in hadies of working out? Or does Hollywood’s Leading Ladies count?
So I guess my question to your question is:
Do you mean interest or fantasy? ๐
Halle Berry is one of my favorite berries in the entire berry world!
I *always* include fantasy. So, yeah, Hollywood crushes count.
And I think I was thinking… mostly race, for ethnicity, but if a religion is different enough from yours I think that would qualify, too.
Yes, more often than not. My first serious crush (not reciprocated, though he was a good friend) was an Indian guy. The first guy I went with (for 6 years with one or two breaks) was from China. The most recent one was from India. There were a few brief interests in between, but nothing as serious. The guy I feel closest to now is white American, but that’s never going to go anywhere.
Even since 1st grade, I always gravitated toward the classmate/colleague with the most exotic background. I have no idea why. My grandmother was also interested in the exotic. Do you think it’s genetic? It certainly keeps life interesting.
No. I have nothing against anyone, there just wasn’t a lot of different ethnicities where I grew up! That and I met my husband in 11th grade and we’ve been together ever since. Gosh, that’s been forever!
In real life? I dated a Hispanic in the 6th grade, and then again when I was a freshman.
In “fantasy life” well I have a small, okay HUGE crush on Darren Sharper, ex Viking. He’s the prettiest, yes prettiest black man on this planet!
Oh yea I should add…the one in the 6th grade, was nothing more than holding hands and a few kisses!
Well, I did dance with a big, cute black man in college once when my friends drug me to some 18+ dance night! And I guess I didn’t think about fantasy life. There are so many good lookin’ pro athletes that I’ll have to think about that more!
I married a mennonite the first time.Myboys dad. They do have different ways of doing things. The one that stands out the most was there christmas’s.We ate peanuts and our traditional stuff.they sat around eating spitz(sunflower seeds). That was hard to get use to.I started to bring a bag of peanuts to feel like christmas. Many other differences, thats why it didnt work out. But I do love to learn of other cultures and ther ways ๐
I do have a big crush on the hunk on Criminal minds ๐
Other religion, yes and even that did not work out!
