Craig Ferguson is my favorite. The guy is hilarious and his accent don’t hurt! Only problem is he’s at 11:30pm, so I have to DVR it. Being a day late on shows like that kinda sucks! He deserves an earlier time slot!!!
I absolutely love Craig Ferguson, too! But I never, ever get to watch him. I don’t have a DVR, and even if I’m up that late, usually it’s because I’m doing something, or because I’m watching a video, so I can’t watch anyway.
Otherwise, I rarely watch talk tv, although I’ve been known to try and catch Ellen now and again. I never was much for her when she was acting, but I really enjoy her show – she seems to have found her thing. I also liked Oprah for a while there… for a season or two when she had settled into what she was doing, and didn’t care about being sensational or saving the world. Then she started trying to be all spiritual, and (god help me) political, and I gave up on her for the most part.
I remember being really sad when Phil Donahue left the air. I don’t watch too many talk shows, but I’m an Ellen fan on Twitter and Facebook, and will watch the clips that she posts.
I can’t think of any talk show host I ever liked. It has been decades since I sat through such a show. Every time I ever accidentally landed on one while flipping channels, the topic was always some craziness about why someone hates her mother or the like. And when things got really trashy there’d be hysterical tears. I never could understand the draw.
I like Ellen too, but not every day. Jay Leno is fun to watch, but again, not every day. I have to admit I have never heard of Craig Ferguson, on which TV Station is he?
He’s on CBS after David Letterman. His show is “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson”.
I don’t watch much for talk shows anymore, but back in high school I’d watch Montel! I always thought he did better than the other shows, but then even he started having the who’s my daddy episodes. That was the end for me!
I used to really love Phil Donahue. I am still kind of in love with him. I think he started the “talk show of today.” I also did like Oprah back when she was humble but I can’t stand her show now. Please don’t throw rocks at me but as far as entertaining, I loved Rosie O’Donnell’s afternoon show. I had fun watching it. The View is rapidly declining. I don’ t watch it nearly as I used to. I like Joy Behar less and less as each show passes. I feel she’s too self centered to be on this show anymore. She brings up politics too much and is only out for a laugh. I think once she got her own show she changed and it wouldn’t surprise me if she wasn’t on next year. She’s to argumentative. I guess I watch a few bits and pieces of these show but none of all of them.
I agree abut Phil Donahue, he really was a trail blazer. Also Oprah I use to watch all the time years ago, but only once in a blue moon now. Rossie was very funny and it was nice I think she started the whole give a bunch of gifts out to the audience thing. Johnny Carson was good and very funny at times years and years ago.Craig Ferguson I’ll have to catch that some time lately Ive been an early to bed type.
The header today is adorable, so sweet.
I dont watch any talk shows much now.As a few have said already,I used to watch Oprah back in the day too, but she has changed to much and I dont like her pushing her politics and religion on me.
I remember watching Phil Donahue and Sally years ago.Liked them.
I forgot about Sally Karen. I loved her show too. I liked her personality.
and her big red glasses!LOL!
I don’t really watch Talk shows… but Ellen would be my first choice.
