I Believe….
That our background and circumstances
may have influenced who we are,
But, we are responsible for who we become.

Yes, we have to work on our own being, to improve ourselves more and more, which is sometimes very hard, because of our background and the circumstances we dealt with. (Not sure I’ve written this the way it should).
You are one smart woman. I am nodding in agreement.
Jean,
I wish I could take credit for writing this, but I can only aspire to be as wise. I’m merely passing on something beautiful, which we can all relate to. Joy and I bonded on the internet when we chose to seek out kindness and light in what can be a mean and dark world. It may sound weird; like it does when people say they love tornadoes and such, but I love the photo that Nikki posted recently. It’s a rainbow standing firm during a nightmare of challenge, destruction and pain. This is how I want to live my life!
I do enjoy writing and photography. For the first time in my life, I even entered one of my own photographs in a contest between my city (Missoula) and Chicago. And forgive me for ‘tooting my own horn’, it’s currently in first place. My subject is an adorable bear cub, which doesn’t hurt. Maybe some day I will be brave enough to share some of my own stuff…
I have been to your blog site. It’s very witty, entertaining and positive.
Other Joy,
Nice pike — and thanks for spreading the joy!

Boy that’s the truth! Nice photo too, I’d like to see that water fall in person! :+)
