We get the normal bills but we do get an awful lot of junk catalogs and flyers. I just hate the waste of it all.

Personally, most of the snail mail I get is ads for continuing professional education, LOL. I don’t have many bills and I handle a lot of my personal business online. One of the other people here gets a lot of crap from charities. Apparently she decided to spread her wealth around in the last year or two. It’s none of my business, but if she sent money to that many charities, most likely it was a bunch of small amounts, and I cringe to think how much of it went straight into the fund for sending more mailings. She also gets a lot of catalogs from vendors of extravagant stuff. So while I personally get about 0-3 pieces of mail per day, she usually gets a whole pile of it. I’d say I usually bring in about 1.5 inches of mail, not including mail-order packages, every day.

Bills, letters/packages from Holland, letters from work, junk mail, business magazins for Dan. That’s it, I think.

we get those stinkin bills…I wish they would just go away!! Get a lot of junk like credit card applications. That’s pretty much it.

  5. lucy says:

bills, junk, and magazines. Very rarely there will be an actual card for one of us… that’s usually around birthdays, holidays, or weddings/baby showers (thank you cards).

  6. Just a Mom says:

We get mostly ads and bills.

  7. Nikki says:

Adds, and a lot mortgage stuff. I DO NOT want another mortgage! I get quite a bit of mail from insurance companies trying to get us to switch. Do they know how many trees they kill, for something so dang useless! Actually, I wonder how many people really switch!

Bills….on a day that I get no bills, is a good day! 🙂 Oh and my Netflix. I love my Netflix!

  8. Laura says:

When I work it right, I get a Netflix every day. I, too, “heart” my Netflix!!

Otherwise, it’s bills, lots and lots of ads, a few magazines. I really wish I could put a stop to all the “flyer insert” crap that the newspapers send out – those “shopper pages” that usually have garbage advertised in there that nobody cares about anyway, and it just goes from mailbox to recycle bin. Sad.

  9. Jason says:

We get alot of what Jenny said. Also I think that there must be some type of quota for the mail delivery service, because sometimes if we don’t have any mail the mail-person will put the neighbor’s mail in our box.

Not very much mail a few bills a few ads net flicks. I wish I would get more letters or post cards. Once in a blue moon. The buddy project sure was fun that really spiced up my mail.
