    I can’t believe he’s sitting there like that but I do have to say, what a gorgeous bird. I feel I can read his mind.

    It looks like the bird is attached to something, he has these rings around his feet. It is a beautiful bird. So totally different from other birds.

    The rings around his ankles are tethers, commonly used with tame raptors, when they fly to and from their handlers.

    And that expression reminds me of the cartoon characters who are all exasperated at the little one who is trying desperately to do something and failing.
