Question of the day from mssc

If you had to give a single thing from your diet what would it be?  (bread, meat, sugar, etc.)

    Bread. I hardly ever eat it anyway. I would say sugar but I like two lumps in my coffee and I’m sure it’s in a LOT of things I eat. I’m not sure I could give up meat. I love it.

    First off lets clarify sugar, are we talking about the cane variety. If that is the case then I would have to say yes, sugar would be my choice. I’m not sure what that etc taste like but I think I could live without that too.

    I think I can give up bread. You still can eat then cereals or granola.

    I would say meat….but man that would be hard to give up my big macs or whoppers!!

    I could give up meat very easily. I only eat it when it’s already in stuff and it would be more trouble to avoid it. I gave up drinking milk, which I thought I’d never do; though I still make my coffee with 50% milk, and I drink lots of coffee. I already don’t use added sugar, or salt/pepper/ketchup/butter/vinegar for that matter. Don’t eat anything with chocolate, either.

    What I would find difficult to give up would be starches, e.g., pasta, bread, cereals, rice. Oh, and coffee.

    This one is a very hard one for me, being the foodaholic that I am.

    Does ‘soda’ count as a food group? Because I’ve pretty much sworn that off. I’ve also given up a lot of junk food – I still eat it, but not the sit-down-and-eat-a-bag variety (sun chips cured me).

    But I think, if I’m honest, I’d probably give up meat, if I really had to give up a whole group. I’m already off of pork (I know, BAD Iowa Girl!), and could live without most red meat. I’d miss chicken though.

    I think I could give up sugar.I know its great for our health to degrees the sugar intake,feel much better off of it.I’d sure miss my M&M’s and the sugar in my coffee though.

    The hecklers are fierce today! I’ve given up sugar a couple times it’s actually difficult for me. When I’m not eating sugar I don’t crave it much. I guess I would give up me, I like bread more probably. Luckily I don’t have to I think I’ll go have a meat sandwich with a cookie now.;+)

    I would have to say bread. At first I was thinking about pasta, but even though I should give that up I don’t think that would be possible!

    You didn’t specifically say we had to like the thing we gice up just that it had to be in our diet. So, I am trying to think if something I eat but really don’t like much. Is that cheating? Damn, I can’t think of anything I don’t like. I had to give up Bell peppers because my daughter is allergic to them. That was a sad day when I found out. I think I could manage without bread. I do like it in stuffing but I don’t eat stuffing though I love it but it isn’t exactly WW material. I’m not much of a sandwich person unless its’s Ciabatta. Yes, bread.
