  1. Joy says:

It takes one to know one and You never know what someone else is going through until you walk in their shoes.

  2. Jason says:

I wouldn’t classify this as my favorite in a good way, but I think the truth is funny. We have a saying posted on the dry erase board at work that reads – “Due to recent budget cutbacks, the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off.” Like I said not the funniest but it sure does fit the situation.

  3. Laura says:

I have a TON of them posted on my FB… ever week, it seems I have a new “favorite.”

I think the one I was thinking of when I wrote this question was:

“Tolerance is the virtue of a man without conviction.” ~Gilbert K. Chesterton

Seems pretty appropriate in these hyper-PC times.

  4. SKL says:

“When in doubt, tell the truth. It will astound your friends, and confound your enemies.” – Mark Twain

  5. Vicki says:

Do as i say not as ive done

  6. mssc54 says:

Not sure I have a favorite but “IF YOU MESS WITH THE BULL, YOU GET THE HORNS!”

    • DM says:

Michael….I’ve used that one more than once on both of my blogs 🙂
In terms of my favorite quotes…boy, I too have several….not sure I can pick just one. but I will never forget this one: “Poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part.” It was behind the counter @ one of the auto parts stores in our town.

  7. Nikki says:

To each their own. And, live and let live. I like those two.

  8. lucy says:

We are not only responsible for the things that we do, but also those that we don’t do

  9. kweenmama says:

My two favs: “The best things in life are not things.”

    and

“Good, better, best, may I never rest,
’til my good is better, and my better best!”

  10. Laura says:

And there’s always the classic, from WKRP in Cincinnati… “As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly!” It STILL cracks me up.
