Back To The Future…It’s been 25 yeaers

I really can’t believe it’s been 25 years. I have a very fond memory of watching this movie with my boys when they were 6 and 9. It’s a long story so I won’t go into it but it did include Toby getting scared of a bee and me and Jason with fly swatters and bug killer and screens being slammed and windows coming down on fly swatters….oh the good life.

Have you seen this movie? The second one was okay but they ruined a good thing when they went on to make “how many” more?

If you haven’t seen this movie, I highly recommend it to you. Who does’t love Michael J Fox?????? and Christopher Lloyd was remarkable. I totally fell in love with him.

Just wanted to share. Anyone know who’s voice Thomas Wilson is on Spongegbob?

Joy I looked it up… he does minor characters. Such as he did Flatts the Flounder (he wanted to kick Spongebob’s butt all the time) Marty (Patrick’s fake dad) & The Strangler…. That’s all I seen

I never saw this movie. Maybe someday I’ll watch it with my kids.

Really, man I thought everyone on earth has seen Back to the future! Very good movie!!

Oh, SKL, you *need* to see this movie!! It’s just so sweet and funny! (and it might even be ok for Miss A & E, except for maybe the scene before the dance… I might pre-watch it if I were you. You know them better than I do)

Joy, I cannot tell how often we watched all three of them. I loved them so much. The first one was of course the best, with ” McFly!!!!!! ” But to be honest, I loved no 2 and 3 also. My oldest son, Niels was 8 when he first saw it. I thought it was maybe a bit too much for him, but he handled it well and the movie was pretty innocent. I wish often to go back in time and enjoy watching these movies and watching Niels at the same time.

Oh, this is one of my all-timers! I remember when it came out – my friends and I were soooo in love with Michael J. Fox! We must have seen that movie 8 times… and that was back before VHS and DVD – we paid to get into the theatre every single time. Geez, 25 years??? seriously??? dang. I’m old.

Think I’ll make like a tree and get outta here.

I remember watching that over and over again on “beta” lol. Those where the good ole days. No cd players, no cell phones, no Ipod’s, etc. etc.

I finally had to buy it on DVD this past Spring, ’cause it was so hard to find. I had to buy the Trilogy, because BTTF was not available as a standalone. And now that I’ve bought it… they’ve just released the single movie.

anyone want to buy #’s 2 & 3? cheap? ’cause I only want the first one.

We have the whole series of movies, thanks to Uncle Darryl! Bailey and Jason LOVE it, all of them! I like them too, but they can seriously watch them over and over. I adore Micheal J Fox. I’d watch anything with him in it.

  6. Karen Joy says:

Oh man, thats an oldie! How can it be 25 years already, time is flying.Yup I saw it and liked it in its day.

  7. Just a Mom says:

It is NOT 25 years old!! It can’t be.. it must be that nasty old media messing with my head again! Oh, alright I’ll admit it, I’m getting old! 😦
I loved these movies and agree that they should have stopped with just 2. My youngest daughter has fallen in love with them as well here lately. They have been playing them alot on satellite and I guess now I know why! I probably need to break down and buy them.

Yep, that’s my kind of movie…havent’ watched it for so long, I forget most of it. I’ll have to ask the kids if they have a copy on DVD or vcr. I love the scene in one of the movies with the wild west shoot out. (then the time traveling train coming back to town).
