I think they are both easily addicted to things.

  2. Jason says:

I don’t think Hunter has any bad habits that are attributed to me. He is at the stage now where he likes to copy everything we do from sighs of dissapointment to say Geez dad. So far it is just funny.

Hmm, I don’t have to take responsibility for any of my kids’ genetic traits. So, let me see if there are any bad habits they have picked up from observation. Procrastinating, maybe? Being impatient and crabby while tired? Changing one’s mind frequently? I really can’t think of much that’s “bad” that I’ve modeled in front of them, other than the above. I’m probably missing the big ones.

  4. Jenny says:

I would say coffee. When I go to the coffee shop Hunter likes to share with me… lol

  5. Ellen says:

I do not know. This sounds so not motherly, but both my sons has their own bad habits and I have mine. But I can say I do not have theirs at all!! Too boyish 🙂

BTW Joy, I am also a fan of the books of Jennifer Weiner, what a coincidence 🙂

  6. Laura says:

Josh and I both have a temper, and tend to yell first, think later. Couple that with our motor mouths, and we find ourselves in piles of trouble before we know what’s happened. It leads to a lot of, “I don’t know HOW it happened, mom, it just did!”

  7. Nikki says:

As a personality trait, he is very sensitive. His feelings are easily hurt. As a picked up, learned trait, he’s starting to crack his knuckles. This is something I have done since I can remember. So now, he yells at me, when he sees me do it, because I holler at him when he does it. That is a horrible bad habit.

    • Joy says:

I crack my knuckles too. Does Jason?

      • Nikki says:

Once in a while he will. But nothing like me. It’s a hard habit to break. I even went online and showed Bailey pictures of what it can do to your hands. I need to take my own advice.

    • SKL says:

Funny, Miss A has lately been proudly showing me how she can crack her knuckles! I’m not sure whether to ignore it or make her stop. I’ve read conflicting information regarding whether it’s unhealthy or not. (Obviously it’s not exactly a social grace . . . .)

  8. Just a Mom says:

My youngest daughter inherited my fine art of making annoying noises with our mouths. They both are knuckle crackers like me.

    • Joy says:

You make mouth noises??? Whatja have to tell me that for????? You and Paul could be a pair. I can’t stand when he does it.

      • Just a Mom says:

LOL! Yep… I make weird little high pitched noises and the good old popping noise from putting your finger in the side of your cheek. But don’t worry I only do it when I know it really bugs someone! 😉
