Caramel Apples from Paula Deen

I love the idea of these. I love caramel apples but they are so often too big and hard to bite into but I LOVE the idea of swirling it on like this and look at those twigs as the stick. How cute is that? They also look so pretty and festive. They’d be good centerpieces.

    those are cute! But when I want a caramel apple I want LOTS of caramel! I prefer to dunk my apples in the caramel so I can get tons of the good stuff.

    I love caramel but I have a hard time biting into them. I’m going to try these and put a LOT on but in the swirls, I think they will be easier to bite into. Do you think is you swirled chocolate into them it would harden?
