We hardly ever go to movies. The last one we were wanting to see was Superbad. We checked online to see if it was playing and it was. We get to the theater and it wasn’t playing. So we ended up seeing Daddy Day Camp for free. Can you picture 4 adults watching Daddy Day Camp? lol… turned out to be a good movie though!

I think it was Avatar. We went also some time ago to see Funny People. My goodness, that was the most horrible movie I’ve ever seen.

Wednesday I took our 3 year old grandson and our 6 and 8 old children to see ALPHA AND OMEGA! It was very good and I highly recommend it.

  6. Laura says:

Took Josh to see “Despicable Me”. He got scared about 1/4 of the way through, and my mom left the theatre with him so I could stay with my brother and watch the rest. It was ok.

Next movie I’m going to see, rain, shine or hurricane, is in November: Harry Potter 7, the first half. Cannot. Wait.

The Last Song I believe! I went with Joy and Sue, and it was good I thought! I am glad I saw the movie before reading the book, or I may have been disappointed.

    • Joy says:

What do you mean? Didn’t you like the book? I liked the book more than the movie. I still liked the movie though. I think I’m the only adult alive that likes Miley.

      • Nikki says:

No, I loved the book, but I may not have liked the movie as much as I did, had I read the book first. It left a lot out. I’m actually glad I saw the movie, then read the book.

        • Sue says:

Yes, I was disappointed in the movie b/c the book was so good. I also saw Dear John and after how bad that movie was I decided I wasn’t seeing any more movies based off of his books!

  8. Joy says:

Oceans. It was really good and I can’t wait to see the next one for Earth Day; Cats.

Don’t you think that one of the alures of books is that they tend to lend themselves to the imagination so much? Whereas in movies you can see everything right there. You don’t have to imagine what a place or person looks like the producers have already decided that for you/us.

I’m pretty sure the last movie I saw was Slumdog Millionaire. It was pretty good – not the best, but I’m glad I went to see it.

Inception. Twice. It is one of those movies that has an ending that makes you wonder…

  12. Just a Mom says:

I took my youngest to see Vampires Suck. I thought it was very funny.

  13. lucy says:

My boyfriend dragged me to see Machete…. hated about every moment of it! Before that it was Inception… which I loved.

  14. Karen Joy says:
