Would you rather live on top of a tower that slowly spins 360 degrees, 24 hours a day -OR- in a house near a lighthouse in which the beam of light floods into your room every 2 minutes?

The light house b/c I can buy black curtains!!!
I would have to pick the lighthouse. Can’t you just cover the windows up with anything? I’m pretty sure if I would pick the spinning house I would get sick!
I’m spinning.
I’d pick the house because that constant light would drive me nuts. If it were light all the time I could handle it but the coming and going……I’d focus too much on that. I also can’t black out windows. I need to see outside. I’ve been to restaurants on buildings like this that turned and you can’t even feel it. The changing scene might be fun.
Neither . I always prefer the ground floor or first floor . You can flee in times of need.
I would pick the spinning house, because the proper placement of the bed could counter-act the spinning in one’s head from a few too many drinks…. right!!!
I think the spinning would be fine as long as it was slow enough that I wouldn’t get dizzy. I’m with joy on the light business. I am distractable enough as it is.
The lighthouse one. I would get too dizzy in the other one.
Since the light probably wouldn’t bug me during the daylight hours, I’m thinking I’d take the house by the Lighthouse, since I could put on blackout curtains. The ‘moving house’ thing, I think wouldn’t be very effective unless you lived WAY up high, and I have a real thing about heights, which would preclude me from going near the windows anyway. I’d be stuck in the middle of my house, unable to clean or anyth…. wait. maybe I wanna change my mind.
It would depend on how fast it went around. If it was slow, like those restaurants then I would pick that. Bright light gives me headaches in a matter on minutes! And I can’t have curtains on my windows 24/7, I’d go straight mad!
Well I agree with Laura… since I can’t see the light during day light hours… I’d just buy blinds for the night 🙂
