I should go lookin’ like that tomorrow! Ha ha ha ha!
See if anyone tries to peek up your skirt.
Now the big question is, do I get up early and herd the kids to the polls before school, or drop them off and then go? Usually the line is short but this year, I don’t know . . . .
Here’s hoping some important messages really get across tomorrow.
Being your girls are so young and they’ll know it’s important to vote, I say go when they go to school and just wear your “I Voted” sticker and explain you voted. You have to admit that that’s a boring thing for a kid if there’s a long line.
Done! Luckily there was no line and the girls were excited to go vote with me. They don’t totally understand what it’s about, but they have a basic idea, and at least they see that I consider it important. Plus they got a sticker out of it!
Awesome. I should go now and start my day.
Totally bummed. I voted, but they didn’t have stickers!!! Although they did have a cool “blind friendly” interactive machine that read the ballot for Steve, and recorded his vote on the actual ballot then spit it out. This means, next time? He can vote by himself! I can go cast my ballot, and he can cast his. Sweet!
Unfortunately I still cannot vote, but Dan goes, for sure!!
Time to “clean house”
No kidding Shane.
Keeping my fingers crossed for your community, Joy. And for our country.
Thanks Laura.
Lily’s mom is picking her up early so I can go vote. How nice is that?? I never would have had the time otherwise.
I took our six year old son with me this morning at 8. They said we have had over 15% of our precinct vote already.
I don’t think it was anywhere close to that in our area. Then again, maybe it’s because there are a lot of Democrats around here. Maybe they are disheartened. It will be interesting to find out all of those details – I am dying to hear – but of course it will be late tonight before we get any reliable info.
I just got back voting Joy! I was #164 this morning. Voted YES & YES for the school 😀
Thanks Jenny.
I voted at 9:30am and was #118. I also voted Yes Yes and I have a feeling it will pass. It better pass! LOL!
I hope your feeling was right. My name was at the bottom of the page and I turned it to see if you’d voted yet and I got kind of told I wasn’t supposed to do that! I asked why and she said she didn’t know. How funny is that? She told me I couldn’t turn the page but had no reason. Is who voted public record or what?? LOL!!!
I voted at 12 and was 234.
Steve and I went in to our County office last Thursday, because our names weren’t showing up as “registered” when we checked online. Sure enough, we were all set to go, but we had to make sure. When we were in there, she said that tons and tons of people had already taken advantage of the Early and/or Absentee Voting… more than ever in her 30 years in that office. I’m very excited about so many people being involved.
Went and voted at 3:00pm and I was around #550 for voters…. Keep your fingers crossed I might just be the next county supervisor for Kingston township, I know I had one vote!!! HAHAHA
Had I only known, you’d have had 2 votes. What’s that job description anyway??
From what i’ve read its like being on a city council…. Someone other than me threw my name down. And I almost wrote it in just because the only option was a write-in, but I left it blank.
Cute photo. Hope your school is voted for and it passses. ;+)
