Never have. But I would like one. I’m such a messy cook!!!

  3. Just a Mom says:

I use them when I bake but I really should start wearing them more often. I am so tired of ruining my shirts with splatters that never ever come out!

  4. SKL says:

If I ever cooked more than boxed macaroni, I might wear one.

Speaking of homemade gifts Laura. I have a white apron. The bib type that Toby’s kindergarten teacher stenciled my name on with hearts across the top of the bib for helping in the classroom and it’s my favorite apron. I wear it every time I peel or mash potato’s. I use it all the time and I’ll bet that thing was under $1 in a craft store. You could put hand prints or anything on the front.

Funny cause I never thought id ever wear a apron but since this last summer ive been thinking I should get one because everytime im cooking I splatter my shirt and if its grease its really hard to get those specks out. So I dont have one but think i’ll get one before the holidays.

I just keep mine hanging in a little closet thing on a hook and I pull it out all the time. Toby has quite a few over here too. He has the real chef ones from school. He also has one that says “Women want me, Martha Stewart fears me.” LOL!! I got that one for him years ago.

Yes, I wear them when I cook a lot of different dishes. For my regular evening dinner I do not wear them. I love it when I wear, them, so why I do not wear them every evening? I do not know…will think about it 🙂 Have a wonderful weekend!

I’ve got a couple of cheapies that I wear when I get really busy with baking. (I have flour issues) When I bake a lot, out come those aprons. Come to think of it, I do use them when I cook big meals, too, but that rarely happens. I’ve often thought of buying myself a really nice one… well, I saw one a couple years ago in a catalog. It was basic white, but had fun tie-dye on it, and said “Flour Power” in big, puffy, 70’s letters. It was REALLY cute, and I dropped hints about it to everyone in my family for two Christmas/Birthday cycles… never got that apron, and it was discontinued by the time I went to get it myself.

Next time I’ll just buy it for myself.

Just yesterday I opened a drawer and noticed an apron there that I never use. Funny now a post on aprons I do not wear aprons when cooking I don’t know why. Maybe I need to reconsider this idea about aprons. :+)

  10. Nikki says:

No, but that’s because I don’t have any. I love the way they look, I don’t know why, I just do. I should buy one! But where, do they sell them at Walmart or Target???
