I would say that I have decent memory pertaining to tthese kind of dates. Sometimes I remember the silliest things and forget some of the more important things.
I remember b-days quite well. It’s funny I have a hard time remembering how long I’ve been married for…haha. I know our anniversary date, but the 7 yrs I always cut short. LOL
I’m very good for dates and remembering. But now that I’m home, a lot of time I’m not sure what date it is. Heck, some days I forget the day or week!! LOL!!! But I have to say even though I remember, I’m really bad for getting out a card. I mean well but I suck at that.
It really depends! I have one friend in particular whose birthday I can’t remember to save my soul and I really don’t know why!
I used to be really good at this. At some point I think I hit my limit. I have a couple of step-niece/nephews whose dates I can’t remember, but most of them are still in there. I’m usually good at reciting them from memory, but I might let the actual day slip past if I’m not alert.
I torment some people by calling or e-mailing every year, even though I don’t think they really want to hear from me. Not sure why I do it, actually.
Yeah, I’m decent… but like a lot of people, I remember dates, but I don’t always process the lead-up to those dates. It’s happened more often than I’d like to admit, that I look at the calendar and go, “oh crap!! It’s ____’s birthday today! Stink!”
Well repetition is the key for me. And since I have had the dates roll around so many times now I’m pretty good at remembering them. 🙂
OMG IT’S 28 DEGREES THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND 88% RH!!!!!!!!!!!!
BRING IN THE FIRE WOOD!!! TURN ON THE ELECTRIC BLANKETS!!!!! GET THE WOOL BLANKETS OUT!!!!! PLUG IN THE CAR!!!
HOT COFFEE – HOT COFFEE – HOT COFFEE!!!!
PS: Now I know why Sue said she sees alot of hair in her future. She has to grow her winter coat!!
It’s now 26 degrees and FEELS LIKE 14!!!!!!!! I’m cold and it’s still 57 degrees here!!! Hope you are all staying warm!
Oh Lucy, LOL!!! I actually thought it wasn’t too bad today. It’s gets much colder than that!
That’s what calendars are for! LOL I have a horrible memory. Some, like our parents and siblings I remember. I have way too many nieces and nephews to remember all their bdays. I only remember a few. I can’t remember any of my friends bdays, but luckily I do remember the month so when it comes to their month, I find out quickly so I don’t forget when the times comes. I don’t do cards though, only for my one sister and best friend. I’m awful about sending cards.
I don’t do birthday cards, either. I don’t even call a lot of people, like my brothers, who have never remembered my birthday ever. Sometimes I think I keep those dates in my head just as another hobby or something.
My brother forgets mine almost every year and he lives in the same house as me. One of my sisters has never called me either or Bailey on his bday, yet she gets bent out of shape when I don’t remember all 3 of her girls’ birthdays!
I have always been good at remembering birthdates and special dates. The only one I can not remember is the date we got married in the church! I always remember our real, original anniversary just not the second one!
I REMEMBER TO FORGET THEM. NOT MUCH ATTACHED TO CELEBRATING THESE DATES.
I’m like Joy…. great remembering b-days, but don’t EVER ask me the date. I just don’t have a clue. And, LOL!, I’m still working and don’t know the date. I do usually know what day of the week it is (at least until early evening). I have NEVER gotten cards in the mail in a timely manner, so everyone gets a phone call. At least they know I remembered them that way!
I’m very good at remembering birthdays!! However, I’m usually not very good about sending cards/gifts on time… mainly because I hate going to the post office. BUT I will always call, text, or facebook on time 🙂
