Question of the day

If one morning you woke up and found that during the night you’d been magically transformed back to a 10 year old, what would you do that you really miss doing? You have one week to stay that way. How many things would you enjoy doing?

  2. Sue says:

Play with my friends and ride horse.

    • Jenny says:

You never rode horse with us!!

      • Sue says:

Excuse me??? You don’t remember me riding with Mel on Peppy? We’d go around the block and cut through the field by Faye’s or the corn field at Dean’s! Remember how we’d get around the corner between Dean’s house and Faye’s house and the horses would take off b/c that’s where we’d race?! I so did to ride with you!!!

  3. Jason says:

I would go back to not having bills!!! Now looking back that would be the best part of being a kid. That and playing with my brother.

  4. Jenny says:

I would have sleepovers, play barbies, Breyer horses, & SLEEP in!!!

  5. lucy says:

Runaway….JK! Spend the entire time with my grandma and cousin, riding our bikes, going to the pool. Staying up late watching movies…I loved being at my grandmas.

  7. Laura says:

If it was winter, I’d divide my time between the stables and the ice pond in my back yard. If it was spring, summer or fall, I’d STILL be at the stables/riding, but I’d also be bike riding, swimming, and maybe fishing, although I fish now, so maybe that doesn’t count. Oh, and going to band practice, ’cause I was a band nerd.

Ah, yes, I can still hear the theme song to “Hogan’s Hero’s” through my windows. I enjoyed listening to you practice.

  8. SKL says:

I dunno, I guess I would spend the time reading, working puzzles, making doll clothes, writing poetry, drawing, and “teaching” my baby brother. Depending on the weather, I’d swim, bike, or build the ultimate snow fort.

Here’ s a question to your question….am I ten again in my real 10 yr old world or am I ten in the current time? If I’m 10 in my real 10 yr old mind I would love to go horse back riding with my dad again. It was a Saturday tradition for us. My older brother didn’t enjoy it, so it was just Dad and me. I’d run, skip, and play Red Rover with the kids on the block. I really wouldn’t want to be 10 in the current world. Everyone I play with would be toooooo old to have fun like that! Ok, I just thought about it, and I do have one really great friend who would play with me even if she was all grown up!

  10. Joy says:

Lay up and look at the clouds thinking of all the things they look like. Ride my bike everywhere. Go for a walk with my grandma to the maples. Wait up for my dad in the middle of the night while he was out fighting a fire. Go to the cabin in Ely. Dream about being a mother. Play with my dolls and learning to babysit. Read.
