No I don’t do the letters and mostly, no I don’t enjoy reading them. I’d rather get nothing that a printed out letter that gets sent to everyone. It seems very un-personal to me.
I would like to receive them, though I hardly ever do. Usually I will put a short personal note in at least some of my cards, but this year I was in too much of a rush. I was lucky to get some photos in there. I don’t think anyone would really want a whole essay about my life in a Christmas card. But I can see it if someone lost a family member or had a really big thing happen.
We don’t send out letters… We only got 1 letter this yr. and I just kinda skimmed over it. I would rather just get a card
I don’t do letters either and don’t care either way if I get them or not.
I’ve done a few Christmas Letters over the years, but only in years where there were big things happening. The first one was the year Josh was born. I kept it to one page, and included lots of pictures. The second one was when we moved to Iowa, so I included pictures of the house and the Llamas that lived here at the time.
This year, I just included a picture of Josh, since he’s growing like a little weed.
I do like getting them, except from people who insist on detailing the health failings of everyone around them. One friend sends a letter that I look forward to every year – he’s a good writer, and has a great sense of humor so it’s always fun reading it.
I don’t send cards out so no, I don’t send a letter. I have never gotten a letter in a card either. I guess I really have no opinion.
Don’t send letters but do enjoy receiving them.
