I will probably take it down within the next couple days. Probably tomorrow, I’m kinda sick of looking at it. Had it up before Thanksgiving.
Mine is now down!! Got my windows back
You know Jenny, that’s what I missed the most. We lost that big front window and I really missed it. YEAH for sunlight. And NO SNOW!!!!!
I took mine down today 😦 I wasn’t ready to, but Toby was and if we really are suppose to get more snow I wanted it all back in the basement b/4 then! My house decorations are snowmen so I can leave those up all winter. We’ll probably turn the outside lights off in the next couple of days.
I took my tree down last night because i wanted my space back. Left the other decor up though.
yea you just threw the tree outside in the snow tipped over. Looks kinda funny
Because i planned on buying a new one (which i did) thats why i tossed it out in the snowbank. lol
LOL you guys!!!
Don’t plan on taking it down at all. We keep the other decorations at least until January 6, which is Orthodox Christmas.
We’ll keep it up until New Year’s, at least. It’ll come down sometime during that week. We usually don’t put it up until about mid-December, so we don’t get sick of it quite so quickly. Besides, Twinkle sent me a message that Santa left one or two gifts under that tree for us to find when we get back! So it’s not finished with its job quite yet.
I took mine down yesterday and I also took everything down but the lights on the stairway and laundry room and the hutch on the desk. I love the lights. I just miss the space it takes up as well as all the stuff I had to move. My plants and plant stand have been in Paul’s room and all my rooster stuff has been upstairs since Halloween. I go right from that to Thanksgiving to Christmas so I just wanted my old stuff back around.
We used to leave the lights outside and inside on until the Superbowl but that’s moved back so far now into Feb so we’ll probably leave them on for a few more weeks. Paul did find the dead bulb in our tree yesterday and when he screamed “X-X-X I found it” we were both really happy. Now next year it will be fixed.
I normally would have taken the tree down the day after Christmas. This year, I’ll leave it up until probably the 1st. It’s not in our way at all, and the needles aren’t falling. I love the lights, and cheerfulness it brings to the house. I leave my snowmen decorations out all winter.
I ususally take it down after the new year.I love the lights too.All other decorations too except the snowmen stay up till the snow leaves 🙂
