    Joy. Of course.

Well, if I kept with the theme that’s going here, it would be “Josh”… and I don’t think anyone would buy something that made them smell like sweaty little boy, even though it’s one of my favorite scents…. I’ll have to come back to this one. It’s a really good question…

    • Jenny says:

Well Josh sounds better than Hunter! Who wants to smell like a ishy Hunter? with a hint of doe pee or pheasant pee!!

      • SKL says:

Hunter might be a good name for a guy’s cologne, though.

      • Laura says:

Yeah, but “Hunter” has that whole ‘rugged’ thing going for it – woodsy, spicy… and you could just use the pheromones, and leave out the actual pee.

        • SKL says:

Actually pig pee is supposedly an ingredient in fancy perfumes. As is whale puke. Mmmm.

          • SKL says:

Hate to think what they have to do to harvest such substances.

            • Laura says:

I read a book when I was a kid… it was one of those kid-detective books, and I was maybe ten. Anyway, it talked about “ambergris”, which is whale puke, and how this kid-detective had to protect it from the bad guys until the good-guy-perfumers got there. It implied that they scraped it off the surface of the of the ocean. Don’t know if I believe that, but it’s a theory… and could explain why that stuff is so bloody expensive.

Very good question, I’ll have to think about it!

we now return you to your regularly scheduled Question of the Day…

    • Joy says:

You really really are my hero! I gave up on that cause I screwed it up really bad once. I’m so glad you did this. You have NO idea how that irks me.

  5. SKL says:

Hmm. You do realize I have never used perfume, right? I’m not real big on “fragrances.” But surely if I had to name one, it would have some relation to nature. Like Spring or something – though I prefer fall, which doesn’t really come with any wearable fragrances.

  6. Nikki says:

How about “Clean”….I like all things clean and clean smelling! 🙂 Not clean as in pine fresh clean, but more like a fresh air clean. I love my dogs name, Sari, pronounced Sar-ee.

  7. Laura says:

I’m thinking, “Autumn Mist”. It would be a spicy, rather than a flowery perfume. I hate flowery, at least for me. I’m thinking maybe a little cinnamon & apple, some sort of wood – sandalwood, maybe, to represent the campfires that I love so much in fall (but not too much, because sandalwood can be heavy). It would have to have a crispness to it, too. And above all, it would have to be light.

  8. Jenny says:

    How about Serenity, Desire, Exotic
those are just a few I came up with
