Mmmm I love a good sammie…and that bread looks good enough to eat by itself! I love hard crusty breads!
have you tried Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes? I love that site!! Cut down on the salt, though. No, try the loaf first, THEN cut down on the salt if you need to.
But it’s WAY simple… Give it a try: http://www.artisanbreadinfive.com/?p=1616 the “Master Recipe” is under the second picture.
It does look really really good but I’m wondering how you could make this and take some of the fat, calories and carbs out. I didn’t realize how “bad” this was for you until just now. Maybe not all the cheese??? Or should we just ignore all those facts?
Well you and I would probably only eat half of a serving, so it’s okay!
First off, this recipe serves 4, which means only 1 slice of ham/person, and 2 slices of cheese.
Also, you could use skim or part-skim Mozz, which would cut some fat.
Lose the butter. Or replace with olive oil, which won’t cut fat, but will make it “better” fat.
I love bread like this too.
