Question of the day

We do sometimes. We see them in the summer more for the holidays and this coming Sunday we’re all getting together to make perogies. I can’t wait for that.
Yes, I do. Not as much as I’d like, but I always know that Friday night is get together night so if you ever want to see anybody, head to the farm!
I wouldn’t mind going down there more often. I had fun last Friday.
Well Joy, its every Friday!! It’s not like you have to be invited, just show up. Someone will always be there.
We usually see all the neighbors regularly once the pool opens. Otherwise you might see one running down the road, another one check their mailbox, or if you listen you might just here some of the talking from their deck. 🙂 I think that Hunter is getting to the age where he can start hanging out with his cousins.
LOL Jason!!! I wonder who the talking one is??? I know everyone you’re talking about.
Nope. The lady 2 doors down, who has a couple little girls (younger than mine), mentioned that she’d like to get together. But my kids and I are pretty much never around. Maybe when they get a little older and can just go find other kids to play with in the neighborhood.
Not really, but we all stop and chat with each other when we happen to be out at the same times.
No, but once we get settled in a “home”, I look forward to that!!! I say “home” because we move often, and don’t meet anyone. Soon, if all things go our way…no more moving! 🙂
Not really. We have nice neighbors on one side but do not talk with them that often. The others we only say hello to each other, that is it. Sad, wish I saw them more often and we could have some kind of gathering once a while.
No. We’ve only lived in our new house for 3 months. However, the neighbors do not appear to be friendly. Shame on them.
There’s one neighbor that we get together with often… another that we see whenever the horses/cows/goats/sheep escape and there’s a big ol’ roundup, a third who is my eye doc, and a fourth that we see each morning when we go to the bus stop. I think that about exhausts the supply of neighbors, so I guess the answer is… sometimes? But they’re not planned “get togethers”, except with the first one.
We don’t have cook outs or anything like that but we do meet out in our yards to chat and stuff. Our next door neighbor is a VietNam Vet. When he has his shirt off you can see the scars from bullet holes in his torso. I help them with stuff and our six year old son occassionally takes their newspaper up to the door and also takes in his trash can.
I visit my neighbor all the time shes the best, nicest, good looking, outgoing, most understanding mom and i love her very much.
oh shoot my battery is dying and i must stop now…LOL
It’s so good to be honest Jenny. You really do have the most wonderful neighbor.
LOL You shouldn’t say that about mom – she will get a big head and ego! 🙂
oh mom, when you use the computer sign out!!! LOL!! But sure, I’ll agree to that
lol Jenny…I did that on purpose..joy gave me the idea. lol
I’m not sure she read the whole thing! LOL!!!
LOL Joy, shush! lol
Not to much. Its a seniors apartment complex next to us and two are my husbands relatives, they face our house. His Mom lives in there too on the other side(which is GREAT) and she asks us from time to time why we dont visit with the neighbors.I think when they all heard we were moving in next door it would be one big coffee party everyday or something. Now I like to be friendly but I do like my privacy too and I feel they want to know WAY to much of our business so we stay away a little.Everyone is real nice but just not who I choose to hang out with.
