Yes I do. I find I like certain songs that empower me. Cher’s “I’m strong Enough.” Toby Keith’s “Who’s Your Daddy.” The Bee Gee’s “You Should Be Dancing.” Gloria Gaynor’s “I will Survive.”
I have a lot of them.
Exercise? What’s that?
I used to put on some nice calming music when I did my morning yoga – before kids. Ha! It is a rare moment I now get to spend exercising alone in my house.
No music..it gets boring for me fast!My hubby and I both put the TV on while riding the bike or treadmill. It goes by way faster watching an interesting talk show.Ive learned not to watch the FoodNetwork at that time though! That doesnt work.I dream of all the “bad”food I want to now make but think darn it,Id only have to get my butt on this bike more..cant have that!
no exercise, therefor no music!!! lol
Yes I do. Lots of music on my music device is the same for more than 2 years! I still love it so much. It is soul, it is French music, Queen, Anastacia and Eros Ramazzoti, Jimmy Helms, Pink..so divers lol.
I asked this ’cause I’m looking to expand my repertoire…
Right now, I have a bunch of stuff on there, but some of it needs to be weeded out because it’s just not “get up and move” enough. Some of my favorites will stay though:
March from “Midway” – John Williams
March from “1941” – John Williams
March from “Indiana Jones” – John Williams (what can I say? Indy inspires me)
“Mary’s Wedding” – High Kings
“Little Beggarman” – High Kings
Those are some of the better ones i use. I’ve also got Big Bad Voodoo Daddy on there, Huey Lewis & the News, and TransSiberian Orchestra.
I use to, but my earbuds for my iPod make my ears sore when I wear them too often.
I watch a talk show while I’m on my elliptical. I listen to my iPod while I do my fun sit ups and weight training. I like the Black Eyed Peas, Linkin Park, Bruno mars…my go to song when I’m almost done is “Shock me all night long” by AC/DC.
I used to listen to my iPod while on my elliptical, but like Sue said, my ears would get sore having them in there for an hour. 20 minutes is all I can take.
I thought I was the only one who didn’t like those ear things. I’ve never been able to use them.
They really need to come up with something more comfortable. I loved it at first, but my ears got so sore.
