This sure is you guys! LOL!

Yep, I saw this in my inbox (I totally love Baby Blues), and thought, “Nikki HAS to see this one!”

I started my day out with a good laugh! Thanks for sending this to me, Laura!

This really is us. I’m actually surprised Jason hasn’t set a game up for this Sunday, supposed to be 37 degrees!! How funny would that be to see them trying to run the bases in all their winter gear?!

      • Laura says:

It’d probably be great for conditioning. Think about it… keep practicing in all that heavy gear, and by the time summer hits and they dump it all, they’ll be three steps lighter/faster!

One of my favorite things to do is look at the temp on these posts and relish in the idea that I don’t have to deal with that! But at the very same time just absolutely cringe thinking about you girls having to deal with it. Amazing what the human spirit can appreciate. lol

      C’MON A NEGATIVE THIRTEEN!!!!!!!!!! YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don’t know anything different Michael. I’ve only lived in the cold. Now with this lung thing, I like winter more than summer. Of course, it’s -15 right now and that’s not good either but like I said, I don’t know anything else.

      • Nikki says:

I do know different, but I wouldn’t trade living here for anywhere else!

        • Laura says:

I’ve lived in Texas, too, and MUCH prefer the change in seasons, even if it comes with negative-double-digit temps and windchills.

It’s all about the layers. You can always put more on, but at some point, it’s really not advisable to take one off.

I am pretty sure I prefer the warmth. We are lucky though, here, near the ocean it is hardly ever too warm. Sometimes inside it can get too warm to work around the house, but that is the only downside…I think. I’ve faced cold weather in Holland and I absolutely do not like it. And minus 11 Degrees Fahrenheit, man, that is torture.

    • Nikki says:

Of course I’d prefer it to not get SO cold. But, this in my opinion is the best place to raise my son. It toughens ya up, that’s for sure! LOL
