This is Renee. She is my childhood friend, but more importantly, she is Phyllis’s daughter. Renee and I grew up next door to each other, and ran roughshod through the neighborhood with Barb and Rita. Together, and in every combination imaginable, the four of us got into all kids of trouble, dirt, adventures, and plenty of fights.
Today, Renee is in another fight. At 11:00 AM (CST) – geez, that’s like RIGHT NOW – she’s going in for some pretty heavy surgery. Will all of you please say a prayer for her, her medical team, and for her family?

Thanks to all of you for your prayers! Nee came through the surgery very well. I just got back cause I had to nag the hosp. about giving her insulin for the diabetes. She’ll probably be in 5 days, depending on how healing progresses. All looks good as of this time. Again…Thanks for all the prayers!

Yes, thanks for asking. Nee is doing well, and I just did the fb thing with Bill (her hubby). He said she’s resting comfortably.
Good news. Tell Phyllis to nag away at the hospital staff too!
I did, I believe I heard a collective sigh of relief thoughout the wing when I was leaving! LOL! Tomorrow she’ll be able to handle things herself, today she needed the “not too timid mother bear” to step in on her behalf.
Just an update for everyone… Phyllis just posted the following on her Facebook:
Hi, everyone! Renee is home. Medical problem seems to have been solved without any other issues coming to light! Praise God! She’s in some pain, but has medication to help with that. Thanks for all the prayers and thoughts you sent out on her behalf.
