I KNEW you were going to ask this question today!

  2. Jenny says:

I would say the memory. That way i wouldn’t be so forgetful

  3. SKL says:

Probably the memory. Not sure I want to sense stuff that others can’t sense.

Hard to choose between the two, and I don’t really need to since both are common in our family. SKL, as for the ESP it’s possible to “block” the stuff that gets picked up from others. The photographic memory does require focused attention to pull it up on demand. Life with either or both is doable, and we tend to consider them perks.

Come to think of it, I believe I do have some “ESP.” Numerous times, I’ve had a seemingly-random bad or intense feeling, and found out later that something bad or very emotional happened at that same moment to someone I cared about. Also, I sometimes predict things that seem unpredictable, such as a turnover in football before the ball is thrown. Not sure if that is “ESP” or something else. It isn’t a wonderful thing to be able to sense something bad happening to someone, and be unable to stop it. I send back good vibes and hope that somehow helps.

I think that ESP that we have is actually our instincts kicking in. We’ve been so conditioned to believe ONLY in what is in front of our eyes… except where religion is concerned, and even there, we are told to ONLY believe what one group of people says is true, and ignore everything else, or look at every other opinion with scorn and derision. So we just go along, believing only what we see, and when we get that tickle on the back of our neck, we scratch it, then walk in the path of a bus. Shoulda listened, eh?

Having gone off on that tangent, can someone please repeat the question? I’ve forgotten it. Dang, I wish my memory was better….

  7. Nikki says:

Photographic memory for sure! I am already very sensitive to others, I wouldn’t want to be any more sensitive. I can sense when people are upset, miles away. I have a strong intuition.

I am not particular about having both but I would not like to have a fading memory which hits almost everyone as age catches up with them.
