Happy Friday everyone! This week seemed to go by fast, for me it did anyways. Nothing too exciting happened, although I was able to get outside and work in the yard, which is always nice. Did everyone have a good week? Any weekend plans? Our boat is finally done! We had to get the motor rebuilt and she’s ready for fishing now. Jason mentioned taking it out this weekend, but I think it’s going to be too cold. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ We’ll see.

Have a great weekend everyone! ๐Ÿ™‚

I am also glad it’s Friday! One more volleyball game and then we’re done with running for awhile. It was cold and crappy here today so I got most of my laundry done and even put away! That is impressive for me. Usually I leave it all in a big pile to fold later! I can’t believe Easter is next weekend already. I will have to start buying candy, but try not to eat it. That’s about all I know ๐Ÿ™‚

I can’t believe how cold it is out there! It really stinks. I want the warm weather to stay. Saturday we’re going out for some friend’s b-days. We are trying out a new restaurant in St. Cloud called Texas Roadhouse. Then after that heading to the Martini Lounge. MMMM can’t wait for the yummy martinis!! I’m gonna have to exercise two times on Saturday!

I’m so addicted to watching the Eagle cam still!! I turn the social stream on and just watch the people’s conversations. Some are really informing and then you have some really stupid people who are there to just make trouble. I also learned that the male eagle had a mate before this one but she died in a snowstorm. They did a PBS special on the 2 eagles. He had to abandon his egg because the mom was dead and he was starving and cold. How sad is that?

Well all have a good weekend. I hope we don’t get snow!!! Aaarrgghhhh

I would say this has been a good week so far. On the work side, I got some things accomplished, though, as always, not as much as planned. On the personal side, I accomplished pretty much of what I planned, except that I had to reschedule Miss A’s vision check-up. The girls and I are in relatively decent health and moods. Nothing really earth-shattering to report.

Wee Baby (Miss G) had some new troubles with breathing this week. I have not heard what they decided to do about it, if anything. In general, I’m in the “no news is good news” mode. I should probably call my sister tomorrow and find out the scoop.

Today I got my tax estimate. Come on, people. If this guy is correct, then my taxes for the year equal my entire pay. No, I’m serious. Most people work so they can accumulate money or at least support themselves without dipping into savings. Not me. I work so I can pay taxes! And not surprisingly, Mr. O wants me to pay even more.

Tomorrow I need to go to the office in a suit again – what a drag. Hopefully I’ll get some good work done so I can end the week on a positive note. I don’t have any fancy plans for the weekend – just the usual work, shopping, church, and more work – though I do need to do my sister’s taxes on Sunday night. I hope she makes out better than I did.

I hope everyone has a nice weekend.

Friday night we have a double header softball game for my youngest. Saturday my oldest has Prom. Sunday it’s off to church to pray for my sanity after said weekend!

Tonight is Movie Night again, and Josh has decided that he wants to watch the second half of Fantasia, even though he was bored to tears by the first half – or so he claims. We’ll see. I think all that’s left is “Night on Bald Mountain”, since we stopped the tape after “Sorcerer’s Apprentice”. It’s been a ridiculously long time since I’ve seen it, so I’m enjoying it.

Tomorrow, we have a “Go-See-It” with our Tiger Den. GSI’s are Den Field Trips. Last week, we went to the Fire House, and right in the middle of the meeting, the alarms went off, and we had to skedaddle out of the building so the volunteers could assemble, dress, and leave quickly. It was a nice night, so we gathered the kids outside on the sidewalk so they could watch the fire trucks leave. They loved it! (of course they did… they’re BOYS!!) The only point of disappointment during the evening was that the Firemen wouldn’t let the boys slide down the firepole. Every single kid was really, really hopeful… If I do this particular trip again, I may talk to the chief and ask if we can set it up so they get on from a ladder and slide partway down.

So, tomorrow’s isn’t so exciting. It’s at the Library. But our Librarian is really looking to have fun with it – she asked for the boys’ names so she could label and “shelve” them. It should be pretty entertaining.

Sunday is our town’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt (yes, we’re still allowed to say “Easter”), so we’ll head to the football field and watch the free-for-all. Hope this wind dies down, or it’s going to be nasty out there.

Well, my week has been interesting. I started our weight loss challenge in Kimball with 3 friends/neighbors. I think I’ve done really good eating (or not) wise but I hurt my foot and ankle really bad so didn’t really get exercising “really” until yesterday. I went for it with our Wii Fit Plus. I hula hooped till I thought I was going to pass out and did a bunch of other things and then did the 800 step walk and it was all I could do to finish. As soon as I’m done here I’ll do it again this morning. I like doing all the activities and the 800 step walk in the morning and then I do the longer walk at night while watching whatever is on at 7 or something I DVR’ed. As long as we don’t gain this week we’re okay. If you gain you have to pay into the pot and that would be so embarrassing.

We’re slowly but surely getting our house back together and I just love my new paint and flooring. Paul is picking up a fireplace for our new room. It’s one of those plug in ones. If I could find the one we’re looking at I’d show you but they don’t have the one we want. It’s at Menard’s and it’s one like these.

Other than puttering around this weekend and still getting things put away, we’ll just be here hoping not to blow away. It’s so darn windy today and they’re talking *SNOW* again. Can you even stand it????? Easter is only one week away and snow should not be a part of next weekend.

    Have a great one everyone.
