Mostly in my head. Everywhere I go around here, I see something that needs to be done, so I’ll just bring up a picture of something like Bora Bora (that’s my favorite one), or a pastoral scene in Ireland.

Physically, if I need peace, I’ll go for a walk or a drive. Usually to a river. I’ve got to have water.

I go to the Deep Woods!

Running. As much as I like working out with other people, if I’ve had a stressful day and need ‘me time’ I like to run alone. I also like sitting out on the deck and just listening to the wind.

I love to get away into any patch of nature. However, more likely, I escape to my bedroom. I know, not very exciting. Sometimes if I am likely to be interrupted in my bedroom (because I’m supposed to be on the clock most waking hours), I’ll go hide out in the bathroom. Sad, but true. That’s where I’ve done most of my book reading in the past few years.

I don’t really go to a special place. After 5pm on the week days gets here, it’s pretty quiet around here. IF I need alone time, I’ll go in my room, or for a walk if it’s nice. I very rarely need alone time though. I do take a lot of hot baths…light candles, open a window to let fresh air in and soak. My favorite time to soak is when it’s raining. Nothing but the sound of rain, I love that!

I generally just escape into a good book. I find reading relaxing and it focuses my otherwise bouncing mind on something besides whatever is stressing me out at the time. My favorite books are fiction and I enjoy a wide variety of genres.

Relax? Whats that? Well whenever Hunter is quiet, thats relaxing!!! LOL I love baths, but I can’t stay in the tub for a long time. The cabin last summer was super relaxing. Loved going there.
