Happy Easter to all

Happy Easter everyone. I hope you all have a wonderful day with your family and friends.

One of my favorite movies a favorite song of mine. I wish I could have found the one from the movie but the clips were too long. This one will do.

Christ The Lord Has Risen Today

What does the Bunny have to do with Easter?

Why do we hide Easter Eggs?

How long is it safe to keep those hard-boiled eggs?

Why do we eat ham on Easter?

What’s the history of Peeps?

Find out the answers to those questions here.

Happy Easter! What the heck am I doing on the internet right now? LOL! I am looking forward to going to church and hearing/singing my favorite hymns. My overall favorite is “I Know that My Redeemer Lives” and also “Jesus Christ is Risen Today.”

Hoping the girls didn’t grow out of their dresses since I last tried them on, and that I don’t get into any fights about the fact that the work I was supposed to do on Friday is still not done. I guess I should get busy on that while I can!

Happy Easter!!! What a beautiful morning! Thankfully the sun is out so it will be a great day for an egg hunt 🙂 We made it to church this morning and now the kids are enjoying their candy!

Happy Easter!!! It’s SOOOOO beautiful here, finally! 🙂 The easter bunny hid a bunch of stuff for Bailey, he loved that.

Last night I asked him, “Do you want the easter bunny to hid eggs and candy for you??” He said, “Mom, I know it’s you…but yes!” LOL

We can’t wait to see the family today! Have a great day everyone!

Ok, I’m a little late getting here. It’s Monday evening. I really enjoy the “Easter Bonnet” song. I was singing it at work Friday when I there. I actually know all the words, but the version I enjoy most was played in the movie “Easter Parade”, I think it had Mickey Rooney (he sure was cute back then) or it could have been Fred Astaire, maybe both since I haven’t seen it in a loooong time, and Judy Garland. I was also singing “Here Comes Peter Cottontail”. Sadly they were solos, cause I seem to be the only one who knows the words to tunes like these in my current store. Luckily, no one threw any tomatoes at me. In fact the customers who knew the words joined in. In my old store we ALL sang most of the time.

My favorite Easter contemporary christian song is “Wide Open”. I don’t know who the artist is. The one shown is another of my favorites.

Those facts were interesting. I always wondered about the ham thing. My grandma used to make leg of lamb which always seemed appropriate even though it’s not a favorite of mine (unless it’s in a gyro from Mickey’s).

I’m glad to see that everyone enjoyed their day! 🙂
