Anything that they have laying out… coffee, soap, shampoo etc… no towels or nothing big like that!! lol
No. I can’t use their shampoo and I’m not taking used soap with me! I’ve never taken a towel, but I know Toby has. That I can’t do!
I used to take a lot more than I do now. Now I hate all those little bottles. They’re just to small for more than a few times. I usually take my own hair products. I like anything with a logo like an ash tray or a glass (non plastic) or something that could be a memento (junk to donate to charity next year). The only time I’ll take a towel is if my bathing suit is wet and I’m traveling a distance. Then I’ll wrap my suit in that so all my other stuff doesn’t get wet. I’ve also been known to walk away with a key (accidently).
I always take there soap, shampoo etc. And when I have guests over, I lay it on their towels. I have had some compliments about that, lol.
Once upon a time, I’d swipe bottles of shampoo or lotion if I liked it. Now, not so much. I’ve pretty much settled on the products that I like, and the hotels, as a rule, don’t carry them. I wouldn’t take towels or anything like that, although, come to think of it… I am a bit of a Pen Klepto. I’ll swipe a pen from anywhere!!
Like Laura, if I really like a bath product they provide, I’ll take some home. In the past (when I used to travel for work a lot), I’ve been known to take condiments like single-serve creamers because the next hotel room may not provide any. But usually I don’t take anything.
I take the shampoo/conditions sometimes. They come in handy for when Bailey has swimming at school. I have taken hand towels, usually I’m wrapping something up in it…wet clothes for an example.
We take the soaps and shampoos each day (we stash them in our suitcases so the housekeeping staff will leave new ones). Then we give them to the homeless shelters when we get a stash built up.
I only take pens.Ive never thought anything else in a room was there for my taking,well the lotions and shampoos I quess.I’ve never taken a towel,Im sure Ive stayed in hotels that would charge my credit card for missing towels.There really not what Id want anyhow.
I took an ashtray from the hotel in N.Y. we stayed at on my senior class trip. But that was the last time. Never really bothered with shampoo or other stuff. We usually bring our own.
