You know, people get all excited about today’s comedians, but there is no way they can compete with the Masters of the Craft. And among those masters is the incomparable Bill Cosby. I saw him live when I was a teen, and I was a puddle on the floor through the entire show. This is one of my favorite routines, The Dentist:

That was a good laugh. I really miss this kind of comedy and it was clean and there were no F bombs or swearing. The comedy was about all the funny and oxymoron’s that we all live with and deal with.
Thanks for the good laugh.
This gave Dan and I a good laugh! Thanks!
Bill Cosby is one of the greatest comedians EVER! I started listening to his taped skits waaaay back in H. S. and became a fan forever! He reminds me soooo much of my older brother when he’s fooling around. I’ll be rolling on the floor and my sister-in-law’s going, “He only acts like this with you…..WHY DO YOU ENCOURAGE HIM?!!!!! Just b’cause it’s hilarious! I hadn’t seen this one in a loooong time. Thanks for sharing it today! You made my ho-hum night!!!!
Can’t hear it, but I love Bill Cosby. When I was a kid (before you were born) we used to have several of his albums and I wouldn’t be surprised if the Dentist was on one of them.
B.C. was trained as an English teacher and he has spent pretty much all his adult life trying to raise the standards among youth in urban USA. He takes a lot of flack for telling it like it is. Too bad more people don’t see him as a role model.
Before I was born? I think we’re the same age, SKL!!!
OK, if you say so!
What really about put me over the edge was when he was talking about trying to get the drool off your chin and it stayed there and made a rainbow!!!!! AHHHHH…..
