I eat alone a lot because of call, but the only place I’ll sit by myself is a fast food place and even then I usually get it to go. I would never go to a sit down restaurant and eat alone.

  2. SKL says:

Since I used to travel for work, I’ve eaten alone at restaurants often enough that it doesn’t bother me. Mostly I don’t though, because if I’m alone, I’d rather just eat something simple and cheap. But when you’re in an unfamiliar place and you don’t have transportation, sometimes the nearest restaurant is your only choice. You can only eat so many cereal bars (believe me, I know).

  3. Jenny says:

I agree with Sue… fast food places, I would never sit alone at like Olive Garden or any other nice places like that!

  4. Nikki says:

I can’t say I have ever done that, and I probably never would. Not even fast food. I’d just get it to go. There’s never a reason for me to eat alone when I’m out. I guess it would first take me going out for the day by myself, which doesn’t seem like much fun!

Seeing as how it’s almost impossible for those needing a loan to get one I wouldn’t mind it a bit.

  6. Laura says:

I used to hate it, but now, living far enough away from town that it makes it ridiculous to go home for a bite if I have meetings that bracket dinner, I’ll go to one restaurant in town. It’s a sports bar, and they kind of know me there, so I can grab a booth in the corner, and sit and read or watch whatever is on while I eat my dinner. I don’t do it often, but it beats fast food in the truck!
