Happy Mothers Day! Thanks for being there for us always. I couldn’t ask for a better mother in law. And no, SUE! My nose is not brown! 😉
As I was tucking Bailey into bed last night, he said he felt bad he couldn’t get me anything. I told him all I wanted or needed I already had, and I just wanted a great day with my family. I woke up this morning to the smell of yummy breakfast. He got up and cooked me scrambled eggs and sausage. He did it all by himself! He was proud of him self, and it was very good. Perfect gift! And my house didn’t burn down!
Thanks Nikki. I think you look nice with a brown nose! Bailey really is sweet. It’s not a very nice morning. I hope it clears up. I can think positive.
How sweet! A couple of weeks ago, Miss E was gushing over what a wonderful mom I am (it happens sometimes). She said, “I wish I could do something for you.” I said, “every time you smile, you do something wonderful for me.” I got some extra smiles that day. 🙂

It was a great day around here, finally sunny and warm! My granddaughter and I had a pj party last night and stayed up late making chocolate and vanilla covered strawberries for her mom (my daughter). We all had a nice time together this afternoon. The most excellent Mother’s day gift of all???? MY DAUGHTER IS CANCER FREE!! THANK YOU, LORD, GOD ALMIGHTY!!! We got the good news on Friday afternoon, and it doesn’t get any better than that!!

Oh yeah, it’s great. We’ve all been giving thanks and praise and doing lil “happy dances” here ever since!
Awesome! I just got the same news about my mom – her cancer doctor says she doesn’t need to come back for any more check-ups – she’s cured. Hooray!
