Mosquito Spray…Worth a try
I was at a deck party awhile back, and the bugs were having a ball biting everyone. A man at the party sprayed the lawn and deck floor with Listerine, and the little demons disappeared. The next year I filled a 4-ounce spray bottle and used it around my seat whenever I saw mosquitoes. And voila! That worked as wel l. It worked at a picnic where we sprayed the area around the food table, the children’s swing area, and the standing water nearby. During the summer, I don’t leave home without it…..Pass it on.

OUR FRIEND’S COMMENTS: I tried this on my deck and around all of my doors. It works – in fact, it killed them instantly. I bought my bottle from Target and it cost me $1.89. It really doesn’t take much, and it is a big bottle, too; so it is not as expensive to use as the can of Bug-spray you buy that doesn’t last 30 minutes. So, try this, please. It will last a couple of days. Don’t spray directly on a wood door (like your front door), but spray around the frame. Spray around the window frames, and even inside the dog house.

This is definitely worth a try. There isn’t even anything to lose. I have some on hand and I saw a mosquito on Sunday.
wow, this is one of the best tips I’ve heard lately! Thanks, I will definitely tell the family back home in the Netherlands, they have so much trouble with mosquitoes. Here in Southern California, we hardly have them.
I got this as an e-mail not too long ago and looked it up. According to TruthorFiction.com there’s no proof that this is true. I can’t remember if I looked it up on snopes.com as well. But I do think it is worth a try though.
I just check on snopes.com. They had the same story as in this post and they say it is false! Oops………… I already sent out an email worldwide to tell them about this great tip!! All my American family and friends as well as my friends and family in Europe are laughing now about me!!Me and my big mouth!! Oh well, at least the bugs will have a fresh breath!
It’s okay Ellen. Maybe they’ll forget about it or just try and think it didn’t work. It just might work. We’re not sure. I’d just not say anything for a while.
