    1. Parking illegally in handicapzones.
    2. Driving UNDER the speed limit in the left lane.
    3. Saying Obama should get reelected.

As a proud member of the Meeker County Sheriff’s Reserves, and I don’t care what little miss Trish Van Pilsum Fox 9 investigator has to say about them, I do posses the ability to arrest people while on duty. As for a citizens arrest unless it was something serious such as battery, I would rather just call in a report.

  3. Joy says:

People who are 25 or more overweight wearing spandex in public.
People who don’t use turn signals and almost worse, people who don’t turn them off after they’ve turned.
People who are late for appointments and then make me wait for mine.
People who park in NO PARKING zones just “for a minute.”

  4. SKL says:

I’d like to arrest the neighbor lady who gave me a hard time for walking my daughters through the ravine in front of her house, while she was illegally feeding deer.

Can’t think of anything else off hand, but that would be the kind of situation where I’d use it – to teach “holier than thou” people a lesson for opening their big fat mouths (or otherwise getting in my way).

  5. SKL says:

Oh yeah, people who harass me for not going fast enough so THEY drive dangerously over the speed limit. People who cut in and out of traffic because they are so frustrated with people who drive at a prudent speed.

Would have loved to arrest the ex-neighbor who taught his kids to play ball IN the street during rush hour, and then went and harassed the neighbors (at their homes) if they didn’t slow down enough (in his opinion) while driving past his entitled brats.

  6. SKL says:

People who expose too much butt cleavage or boob cleavage.

The woman who was texting while driving through the parking lot at the local park, where little kids were walking.

People over 13 who hog the swings at the park for long periods so the little kids don’t get a chance to swing. And who ride skateboards down the McDonalds PlayPlace equipment when toddlers are playing there.

People who use taxpayer-funded subsidies to buy cigarettes (especially if they blow the smoke at their kids), alcohol, junk food (especially if that’s what they feed their kids for breakfast, lunch, or dinner), drugs, tattoos, piercings, video games – you get the idea.

People who work “under the table” and then utilize government subsidies that they wouldn’t actually qualify for if they were reporting their earnings.

Can I just blanket-statement this, and say, “Being Stupid”? ‘Cause I have a really long list.

I guess my biggest pet peeve for this week is people who mis-use the handicapped parking spots, AND the cops who let them do it. Such as: parking your car in the H-spot, and leaving a licensed driver in the passenger seat. That guy couldn’t drive your car from the door to a parking spot? Creating a “new” spot in the No Parking area, and thinking it’s ok because “I have a handicap tag, and all the spots are taken”.

  8. Nikki says:

People who text while driving. I’d pull them over, take them to the morgue where they can get a healthy dose of, “this will be YOU, or someone’s child!”…if you don’t stop! Then they can go sit in a jail cell and think about it. I hate texting, and doing it while you’re driving it plain stupid! Okay, that rant is over.

Lets see…how about parents who let their kids scream the entire time they are in a store.! Or let them run around everywhere, and cause a ruckus.

Today I would have loved to arrest the teen driver who cut me off while shooting me a smug look.

  10. Phyllis says:

    1. Inappropriate/inconsiderate cell phone use. If you can’t hear the person calling or they can’t hear you, PLEASE go to an area where your conversation won’t disturb others who don’t want to know your business anyway!

    2. Parking in the handicapped spots just because you have a placard on the mirror. If YOU are parking and don’t have the handicapped person with you DO NOT USE THE RESERVED SPOTS!

    3. Texting. Whether driving, eating a meal, or meeting with others it is just plain RUDE to be texting!

    4. People who don’t discipline their children! They are the future leaders of the world and I don’t desire to have a bunch of undisciplined tyrants position of authority when I’m older!

    5. People paying for groceries with the “link” card who then proceed to the lottery machine to buy tickets! There’s a lot of that going on!

    6. Men/boys with their pants hanging off their hips (even while wearing a belt)!

    7. People scantily clad in public places.

    8. Reckless drivers… including but not limited to speeding in parking lots, down side streets, nears schools or parks. People who roll through stop signs or back up without checking for traffic.

    9. People with a sense of entitlement, i.e. I’m special so the rules don’t apply to ME!

    10. People who smoke in non-smoking areas. I am a smoker, however, I do NOT smoke where it isn’t allowed, course I don’t have entitlement issues.

Ok, those are my top ten, not listed in order of importance but rather as they occurred to me. Are you sorry you asked?
