Question of the day from Jenny

Easy one one. Instead of going to school one cold winter morning my best friend came by my house. He was leaving home. I couldn’t let him go by himself. We hopped a freight train and away we went.
Well, the craziest thing I ever did was in my mid life crisis. Other than that, I’m not a very daring person. I think the funniest “crazy” thing I ever did was one night Nancy and I completely rearranged someone’s house. We moved dresser drawers onto different slots and the silverware trays and we short sheeted the bed. We moved the sheets and towels to different spots in the closet!!! Mike told us that it took them months to find some of their stuff. God we laughed. Nancy and I did “fun/crazy things together. Oh the tricks we used to pull on Barb. LOL!!!
It’s funny I came up with this question and I really don’t have an answer. I’m not a daring person, I’ll have to think a bit on this one!
I don’t know, I have always been a little crazy. Except when I’m a lot crazy.
Let’s see. When I was maybe 13 and full of stupid hormones, I decided life wasn’t worth living any more, and that I was going to swim out in the lake as far as I could, and then the obvious would happen. Needless to say, I changed my mind after I’d gone a fair distance. Luckily, I discovered that there are ways to keep swimming even when you’re exhausted. I never admitted to anyone what I was thinking, of course. Sometimes I used to imagine running away with my kid brother and/or sister, but thankfully I never put that idea into action.
I’ve done some crazy daring things like climb too high in a tall tree in the rain (to have the branches break under me), ride down a steep ravine on my 10-speed (at age 9), climb up the side of the nearby Catholic school and then all around the perimeter at the level of the 3rd story windows, etc., but somehow always lived to tell about it (so far).
That would have to be riding a couch down the road while it’s being pulled behind a pick up truck 🙂
Oh sure, you had to bring that up!!!!!! OMG!!! LMAO!! I have the pictures to prove it.
Somewhere, I do too!
oh yes I have pictures on my wedding night of my mom being pulled down the road, not on the couch, but on the 2 chairs…LOL ohhhh Toby!!!
Those chairs were WAY scarier than the couch!!!
I still can’t believe we did that! Good times!!!
Lets not forget i was in a DRESS while riding down the road too!!! lol
LOL Toby!!!! His contraptions!!!!! I really should find those pictures. I even “kind of” know where they are. Do you have pictures Jenny??? I’d pay money to see Vicki in a dress going down the road like that. I’m wetting my pants thinking about it!!!
oh yes!!!!! We even had to crop a few pictures just because she’s wearing a dress!! 😉
LMAO!!!!!!!
When I was younger, 15-16, I did all sorts of crazy things. LOL
When I was 16, I lived in Montana and my best friend lived up in the mountains. There was a house right below her house tucked back in the mountains. It was someones summer home. My best friend decided to make it our party house. I still don’t know how she got in, in the first place. I did not break in, I just followed. LOL
We got caught! The charges were dropped from breaking and entering to, trespassing. I had to play almost $1000 in restitution and a LOT of hours of community service. We all did….my BF, my sister, and 3 other friends. We got lucky, considering!
That’s probably not even the craziest thing…but I never got in trouble with the law again!
NICOLE!
What? I was 16 and I didn’t have anyone that cared what I did!
