  1. Joy says:

I was named Joy because I was born two days after Christmas and Alice, my middle name belonged to my grandma and I’m SO glad I was named after her.

  2. Ellen says:

No, I do not think I am. My baptist names are Elisabeth Adriana. In the Netherlands it is common to have an official calling name, my parents choose mine to be Ellen 🙂
    My siblings names are:
    Baptist name Calling name
    Josephus Maria = Jos
    Joanna Maria = Joke
    Maria ? = Marja
    Albertus Franciscus = Bert
    Thomas Aloysius = Tom
    Charlotte Catharina Alida = Lotty.

  3. Jenny says:

My middle name is Marlene. It’s my grandma’s first name and also my mom’s middle name.

  4. Nikki says:

My middle name, but not after anyone I know. My mom wanted to name me Jamie-lynn and my dad refused. He picked my first name and my mom picked my middle name. Rachelle was the name of the nurse that assigned to my mom during labor at one point. She thought it sounded good with Nicole…so there ya go. I’m named after some nurse I don’t know!

  5. SKL says:

I think so, sort of. My first name is similar to one of my parents’ friends’ names, and my middle name is another family friend’s name. Actually my parents still keep in touch with those women. So I’m thinking that was the inspiration. I was the first girl, so I guess I got the low-hanging fruit.

  6. Laura says:

Not that I know of. I’m all unique and stuff.

  7. Karen Joy says:

  8. mssc54 says:
