I got this question from slightlyignorant’s blog. Do you have any hero’s? Who are some of them?

Mother teresa.
Nelson Mandela; Mother Teresa; all the good soldiers who are serving for our and other countries; my sister, who we hope is a cancer survivor, she has been so strong in her battle; and the older I get, the more I come to realize my mom was a hero. She raised seven kids. Of course she got help from me dad, but most of the work was on her plate (she was also pretty dominant 🙂 ).
Aw, Joy, it’s always fun to see myself mentioned somewhere ^_^.
I have way too many heroes, starting with my parents and my aunts and ending with random Youtube artists who are around my age and yet have managed to do so much that I’m in awe of them.
I thought it was a good question 🙂
My hero’s-the ones fighting for my freedom and the ones who lost their life fighting.
My hero’s-in my life? My grandma for sure. She was my saving grace as a child.
Oh, my grandma too.
I’ve been thinking about what I was going to say ever since I saw this question over at Ilana’s blog. I’ve changed my mind so many times or just keep adding more people.
First and foremost my everyday real life hero’s are our military. Who put their lives on the line for us every single day. Them and their families who have to learn to live without their loved ones in their lives when deployed. God bless them all.
Then I go back and forth. I have to say all the adventurer’s and inventors who weren’t happy with life as it was so wanted to change it. The people who came over on the Mayflower. Benjamin Franklin. Jonas Salk. Paul Revere. Lewis and Clark. Betsy Ross. Florence Nightingale. Ann Frank.
Abraham Lincoln. Isn’t it funny that a politician could be considered a hero?? I sure couldn’t pick one now that’s for sure.
Then I think I’m going to round it off with all of our police officers, firefighters and EMT’s. They’re always there for us when we need them. They make us mad at times but in the end, they’ll be coming to our rescue when needed.
Right now, at this moment in time, if I had to choose just one, it would be the Dalai Lama. Even through all the crap that his little country has endured, and the fact that he is completely exiled, he still maintains such a positive view of the world. He’s an inspiration.
My mom is my hero :)))
