Kickoff Chili Cheese Dip

2 (15-ounce) cans turkey chili without beans
3 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 (10-ounce) can diced tomatoes and green chiles, drained
2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon ancho chile powder*
Large corn chips

Instructions:

1 In medium saucepan, combine chili, cream cheese, and diced tomatoes. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring frequently, until combined. Stir in shredded Cheddar cheese and chile powder; cook, stirring frequently, until cheese is melted. Serve hot with Fritos® scoops.

    I love cheese dips too Jenny and this one looks so good. I’ll be trying it on our next “time off.” I like the idea of the turkey chili in there and I LOVE Frito’s.

    Ill be making this.We like dips and I know Ive over done it with one that we love,now we’re a little tired of it.Ive never seen turkey chili up here to buy,does it come in a can down there?And I wonder if I can use regular chili powder,I dont even know what ancho is,lol!Yea,I like corn chips too,thats something different to dip.Neato!

      Yes, we can buy turkey chili with no beans here in a can. If you can’t find it I can always send you up some. Or do you cross the border often? Look for the brand name “Hormel.” I will also use regular chili powder.

    I love food like this! I always get the chili no beans for chili dogs but haven’t tried the turkey chili. I bet it doens’t taste that different. Maybe I’ll make this for my Scentsy party too!
