  1. Jason says:

I would have to say underground, since we have been seeing more severe weather up this way. Well most of us see it in this neighborhood. But over all I think a person could save a lot on heating and cooling cost living underground.

  2. Joy says:

I’d pick in a tree because I’d get too claustrophobic under the ground. Plus I’d SEE THE STORM COMING and I’d run to Jason’s underground house.

  3. Jenny says:

I think I would want to live underground.

  4. SKL says:

I like seeing sunlight! I agree that underground would be cooler and more sheltered from the elements (assuming the worms, moles, roots, etc. were kept out). Maybe underground with thick walls and a big skylight.

  5. mssc54 says:

I would much rather the tree. Swiss Family Robinson style. Fresh air, sunlight, breezes, birds singing… and eating worms as they come out of their undergrounds homes. Plus when its time to bathe or use the bathroom all of my waist water would soak into an underground home!

  6. Laura says:

Even though I’m afraid of heights, I think I choose the tree, mostly for the sunshine and well, how cool would it be to say you lived in a treehouse?

  7. Karen Joy says:

TREE!!You’d never get me under ground Im so claustrophobic!I dont think Id even take shelter in anyones under ground abode..I’d just have to ride out the storm.

  8. Sue says:

I would also choose the tree because I need to see the sun!!!! I love the Berenstain Bear books and always thought a tree house would be neat.

  9. Nikki says:

A tree house would be so fun if it’s done right! I couldn’t handle being underground all the time, no sunlight, no fresh air. I would worry about the heavy winds we get, so I’d try to macgyver something that I could hold on to!

  10. Phyllis says:

I choose the tree, because I NEED sunshine, wind in the trees, looking at flowers, etc. When severe weather hits there’s always somewhere to go for shelter if needed.
