Question of the day from Jenny

Nope
Naah. I like hiking in the woods at night.
I used to be scared in a dark house, but here in this house, I’ve never been scared. A bit strange, because this house is much bigger than any house I ever lived in 🙂
No, I rather like the dark. When I was a teen, I believe I preferred the dark. I can remember writing poetry about it. But maybe what I really liked was the opportunity to be alone, which was rare in our family of 8.
Not typically. After a marathon of Criminal Minds or a scary movie, I might think twice before heading into the dark alone. Normally, it doesn’t bother me though. Certainly not in the house.
I can so relate to the Criminal Minds thing. This morning a guy came from the Meeker Coop and needed to check some stuff out and had to turn the power off for about 10 minutes! You can’t imagine where my mind went!!!! I had to tell myself to shut up!!! Sometimes that show is awful.
Yeah, you never know if that was a REAL Meeker Coop worker! Our minds can play tricks on us!!! When we got really into the Criminal Minds, we were watching every episode back to back and I remember at one point, I actually closed all the curtains in the house just in case someone was outside looking in! LOL
Some of them are ridiculously scary. AND WEIRD. We watch them back to back all the time.
I’m not afraid of the dark, although I do keep nightlights on. Two reasons for that: 1. I don’t see well without contacts or glasses and if I get up in the middle of the night I bump into things. 2. There have been strange things that happen in the dark in my home (not imagined, and happened with all of us over the years), so we like to be able to see what’s happening, even though we’re pretty much used to these things by now. Quote for Bullwinkle….”Are they friendly spirits? Friendly? Just listen! LOL! 🙂 And, no, it doesn’t freak us out, we just accept that we’re a bit unusual as a family!
You know, every now and then I am. I’m not sure why. I don’t think it’s the dark but it’s more I imagine things have moved. Like I see something out of the corner of my mind or something. But I do like things dark. It’s just not pitch black anywhere. We have an all night yard light so our house is never really “dark, dark.” But I hate the lights on so go figure!!!!
This was a god question Jenny.
